This apron is thick! It is a really good quality PVC material that can take a beating. I really just got it because I am a slow who makes a mess washing dishes, but the size and quality of this apron means it would be good for all kinds of messy work. It is definitely water resistant. I actually stay dry washing dishes with it as opposed to my usual kitchen aprons. I also like that it is easy to wipe clean and hasn't picked up any weird smells. I think it's great!

This thing is heavy and large, which is what you need! I'm 5'7" @175lbs and it wrapped all the way around me and is actually almost too big.Most other aprons jus have straps u have to tie or they may cut into your neck but not this one. This has a pretty decent padding for the neck, while the waist strap is a plastic buckle clip for quick release.Water does repel off of it, not bubble and wait to soak in, it fully rolls off. I did a test and held the water in one spot on the apron and it didn't even try to soak in! I'm definitley going to be using it to cut up animals during hunting season.

This is nice and heavy duty. My wife makes bath bombs and soap and soap has very corrosive chemicals that you do not want on the skin. This offers top notch protection

I got this to use for safety gear working with some chemicals I got for a project. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It does seem to be pretty heavy duty to me, and there is a fair bit of weight to it. The neck strap is adjustable, and includes a foam wrap-around piece (that uses hook & loop fasteners to attach) to cushion the back of your neck a bit, which is a welcome addition. The buckle that connects the ties behind your back was only attached to one side, so I did have to thread the tie through one side of it, but it wasn't a big deal. The tie straps are very long, as you can tell by the photo if you look closely. There is enough extra that it should fit nearly anyone, no matter how large around you are. I'll probably end up cutting off some of the excess as it is really much too long for me. As long as the PVC rubber (or whatever exactly the material is) holds up to whatever chemical you are working with, this should do a good job protecting you. I can already see where it could be very useful while doing things like pressure washing too in order to help keep dry. I'm glad to have this available for use for a variety of tasks, but especially for keeping me safe.

I recently purchased this heavy-duty waterproof apron from STPGIFC, and it has been a great addition to my power-washing gear.
