Picked this as a spare and to have on hand for when people come to work without a hard hat or forget there’s. I’ve ended up using it full time for myself I love the material it’s extremely light and fits great I tug the chin strap inside because it’s not required on most sites I go to but it’s very comfortable and has held up great for me.

I purchased the SAFEBUILDER Type II Full Brim Hard Hat with the Carbon Pattern MTBlack finish, and it has been an outstanding addition to my job site gear. The Type II rating gives me great peace of mind knowing it covers both top and lateral impact protection, while the full brim design does a fantastic job keeping sun and rain out of my eyes. The carbon pattern finish looks slick and high-end, far surpassing standard plain hard hats in style. Adjusting the fit is quick and straightforward thanks to the smooth ratchet suspension, and the round impact protection lining makes it comfortable enough for all-day wear. My favorite feature by far is the chin strap with the magnetic buckle—it makes snapping it on and off with work gloves effortless while holding standard Class E, G, and C safety compliance. If you need robust safety compliance combined with actual comfort and a modern look, this hard hat is well worth the in

This is a nice looking helmet with the carbon fiber look and it is comfortable and adjustable so a win win in my books. A lot of job sites require a hard hat to enter so it is easy to keep this in the back seat ready to go.

This is a really nice hard hat. It feels substantial without being excessively heavy, and the full-brim design gives you protection around the entire helmet rather than concentrating everything on the top and front. The suspension system is one of the things I like most. The ratchet adjustment makes getting a secure fit quick and easy, and there's enough adjustment range that you can dial it in without feeling like you're constantly fighting with the straps. The six-point suspension also does a good job of distributing the weight, which makes a difference if you're wearing it for an extended period.I'm also a fan of the magnetic chin strap buckle. It's one of those small features that doesn't sound particularly important until you start using it. It basically guides itself together and snaps into place, so fastening it one-handed is considerably easier than dealing with a traditional buckle. The chin strap also helps keep the helmet securely positioned instead of relying entirely on the suspension. The carbon-pattern finish looks good without being too flashy, and I like the full-brim style. This particular version is non-vented, which is also important for its electrical protection rating.According to the manufacturer, this helmet is rated ANSI Type II and Class E, G & C, along with the corresponding CSA certifications. Type II protection is particularly nice to see because it's designed for impact protection from the top as well as the sides. Obviously, with safety equipment I would still verify that the markings inside the helmet match the certification required for your particular jobsite before relying on it.Pros: full-brim Type II design, six-point suspension, comfortable ratchet adjustment, magnetic chin strap buckle, non-vented shell, good adjustment range, relatively lightweight, nice carbon-pattern appearance.Cons: The non-vented design can naturally feel warmer than a vented hard hat, although that's part of the tradeoff when electrical protection is required.Overall: I'm impressed with this hard hat. It feels comfortable and secure, the suspension adjusts easily, and the magnetic buckle is genuinely convenient. I also appreciate getting full-brim and Type II protection without ending up with something that feels excessively bulky or heavy. Just make sure the certification markings on the helmet meet the requirements of whatever environment you're using it in.

Purchased this as a what to appease safety regulations on a job, without having to wear those dorky “climbing style” hard ways.Material seems well made. This helmet doesn’t feel a little bit heavier than the typical hard hat. That being said, it is very comfortable to wear, the knob for tightening the hard hat around your head feels nice and works quietly. There is plenty of cushioning in this helmet, which likely contributes to the additional weight. The chin strap is a slide on magnet style vs. the old fashion clip together style, which is a nice change and helps prevent snagging beards in the clip.Chin strap fits snuggly and securely.Overall, this should do nicely for a hardhat has the chin strap included too!

I've worn a lot of hard hats for work, and this one made a really good first impression. It came extremely well packaged, everything was protected properly, and once I had it in my hands it definitely didn't feel like a cheap hard hat. The shell feels solid, the suspension system feels well made, and the carbon-fiber pattern actually looks really good in person.Comfort is probably the biggest thing for me since a hard hat can be on my head for hours at a time. The ratchet adjustment is easy to dial in, the 6-point suspension spreads the weight out nicely, and the padding around the head and chin strap is comfortable. I also really like the magnetic chin-strap buckle. It's one of those little features that makes more of a difference than you'd expect because it snaps together quickly and is easy to operate with one hand.I also like that this is a Type II full-brim helmet rather than just a basic top-impact hard hat. The listing shows ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Type II and CSA Type 2 certifications, along with Class E electrical protection, so it's built for more than just looking good. There are also mounting points for things like a light, visor, or hearing protection if I ever want to add accessories later.Overall, this feels like a hard hat I should be able to use for years. It's comfortable, adjustable, feels extremely well made, has legitimate safety features, and as a bonus it looks a lot better than most of the plain hard hats I've worn.

This hard hat feels like a solid choice for long days around construction, shop, and outdoor projects. The full brim gives the helmet a balanced look and adds useful coverage from sun and light rain, while the carbon pattern has a clean modern appearance without looking overly flashy. The no vented design makes it especially practical for electrical work or dusty conditions, and the rounded shape provides reassuring coverage around the sides as well as the top. The adjustable suspension makes it easier to dial in a secure fit, and the chin strap helps keep the hard hat in place when bending, climbing, or working in wind. The materials feel sturdy enough for regular jobsite use, yet the helmet does not feel excessively bulky for an all day safety item. The magnetic buckle is convenient when putting it on with gloves, and it makes the strap feel less fussy than a traditional clasp. Its size works well for a range of head shapes once adjusted, and the neutral black carbon style fits naturally with most work gear without standing out too much. This hard hat delivers a durable, versatile combination of comfort, coverage, and professional looking protection.

I ordered this because I needed something to protect my head on a work site.In the box you get the helmet, an extra pad, and two sets of small stickers (Canadian and US).I didn't apply the stickers as there's really no flat space on the helmet that would look OK. That's fine - the stickers were an extra and I'll put my name on with vinyl letters anyway.I haven't had an opportunity yet to test how much heat it will absorb and transmit in the sun. This helmet is decent. The tightener adjustment inside moved freely and I was able to get the helmet to fit comfortably and sung on my head. When it was adjusted, it felt kind of like a baseball cap but bigger and heavier. It has a kind of a 3D printed texture which helps somewhat when it gets wet, rather than a gloss finish which would be slippery. For the price, this is a good deal.
