Retractable Ratchet Straps

These straps worked well for what we needed. The retracting mechanism can get unlocked with some hard bumps though, allowing the cargo to break loose. Overall, good straps which are easier to use for novices. Included storage bags are a nice addition.

Works well. Really helped to pull the slack before cranking it tight and no lose strap flapping in the wind or dragging on the road all the way home. when done using them pushed the button and retracted it and put it away. Soo much better then do it by hand.

I got these to use in a very cramped space where one-handed operation is the only way to go. They work fairly well with a couple caveats. The straps have to be 100% not twisted or they bind up. Normally this is not an issue because you can see what you are doing. If you cant and are operating them by feel this becomes an issue. They ratchet up until the spool is full... which is not necessarily 100 retracted or tight. Any twists double the width and full retraction is not possible. There are spots where these are really convenient for one handed use.

go ahead and buy the longer ones. I like the retractable feature. It can possibly tangle so be ready before pushing the button. Quality looks good.
