This is a really solid little pipe wrench and feels much heavier duty than I expected for an 8-inch wrench. The jaws bite well, the adjustment is, well, as good/bad as any pipe wrench, and the handle has a comfortable grip. While it’s nice to have larger pipe wrenches when you need a lot of leverage, there are plenty of times when you’re working in a tight space where a long handle just gets in the way. You may still need a decent jaw size, but not necessarily all that extra leverage, and that’s where this wrench is really useful. It’s compact enough to get into places a larger wrench won’t, while still opening up to a useful size. For plumbing repairs and those awkward spots where space is limited, this is a great wrench to have in the toolbox.

I needed a medium sized pipe wrench for working on larger metal pipes like my water heater and some of my sinks and such, I have one of the LIYU adjustable wrenches, but needed one of the style wrenches for the really big nuts. So far it functions perfectly, the thumb gear is very easy to move with one finger, but it still still holds the jaw in place well, with minimal sliding or placement movement when you tighten the gear down. It's rare to find a wrench that holds the jaw tight and doesn't slide off to one side or to the back, this is a well made wrench for the price, I highly suggest it.

This small adjustable pipe wrench is only 7 inches long at it's smallest. With it's jaws fully opened it is a little more than 8 inches long. This wrench has a heavy coat of yellow paint on it. The handle has been dipped into black vinyl. The jaws and adjusting screw operates and function well. The jaws teeth are well cut and sharp. They can clamp onto a 1 inch pipe. The quality is fairly good and it is heavy for it's small size. Sometimes I need to get a pipe wrench into a small tight space that is too small for sized pipe wrench. A pair of slip joint pliers just can't get enough of a grip that a pipe wrench can. This pipe wrench is a good value at $10.59 which is half the price of my local name brand hardware store sell them for. The quality may be a little better at my local hardware store but I can't justify spending double the money for a tool that don't use that much. When I do need it no other tool can get the job done.

The wrench has a maximum clamping diameter of 1-58 inches so it is suitable for both professional and DIY pluming maintenance.The 8-inch size wrench is a very handy size to have in my toolbox. It is a solid tool that can handle heavy-duty pluming projects and DIY. While I don’t do much pluming anymore, I have other pipe wrenches I have collected over time and inherited. This wrench however fits what I might need to work on so I do like this wrench. I have it hanging with my other wrenches where it stands out because of the black and yellow color and it will probably the first tool I will grab when I need a pipe wrench.This is the third tool from LIYU I have recently obtained it does not disappoint. I was honestly impressed with this pipe wrench. Feels hefty and heavy duty. After using it, I already plan on buying a few more in different sizes so I can keep some at home and take the larger ones to work.It has a solid, heavy-duty feel for an 8-inch wrench. The jaws grip well, the adjustment ring turns smoothly, and once it's set it stays where you put it. I've used plenty of hand tools over the years, and this one feels like it'll hold up to regular use instead of feeling like a cheap throwaway. The handle is rubberized.One thing I unexpectedly like is the bright yellow color. I have a bad habit of setting tools down while I'm working and then spending several minutes looking for them. The yellow stands out against dirt, grass, and most job sites, making it much easier to spot.For the price, I think this is a great little pipe wrench. It's well built, comfortable to use, and durable enough that I'd trust it for both projects around the house and work. This is a very nice, functional pipe wrench. It weighs 14.1 ounces, measures 8.5 inches tip to tip when fully opened and has a jaw opening/gap of 1 full inch. It is very well built with smooth operating adjustment gear and nut. The I beam handle is heavy duty with thicker than usual flanges. The handle flares around the well defined hanging hole to maintain strength. The jaw teeth are very well defined and sharp so it has absolutely no problem with slipping under load. The paint is nicely done and looks very nice. This wrench is a very good value for a pipe wrench that functions exactly the way it should.
