This angel adapter fits perfectly for the DeWat Planer which is an excellent quality part. Its a great value to redirect the angle of port for the dust collector, keeping the hose out of the way. It is of high quality, and not brittle, meaning it will last and is a great value.Recommend it as it helps redirect the dust to help cutting performance, as it doesnt strain the planer and dust management is vital.

I ordered this adapter because I thought the dust port on my DeWalt 733 planer was the same size as the port on the DW735. My bad. I assumed that the DW735 had a 4 inch dust port and apparently it does not. So this adapter doesn't fit my planer.However, it's sturdy and looks nice as dust collection adapters go. It has a twist lock feature which must work with the DW735.Also, you might like to know that the 1 1/4" hose end doesn't fit a Festool Mini dust extractor hose.It seems a little expensive to me, but if you have a DW735 it might be just what you need!

My three pictures tell the story. This adapter fit the chip ejection port of my Dewalt DW735X perfectly. It is made out of a tougher more durable material than the one that came with the planer, which cracked on me within days. It is a nice tight fit and locks on by twisting slightly to engage the tabs on the planer port. The angle on it helps keep it out of the way of my outfeed table.The other end fits the 2-1/2-inch hose on my shop vac, making this a leak-free dust-free connection. This adapter looks like it will last a long time, unlike the DeWalt one.

This adapter feels heavy duty in thickness. It also fits perfectly on my DW735. See video. The 2 1/2" connects snuggly on the other side.It is wonderful to be able to use this machine inside. Planning outside is not the most pleasurable experience. But the planar outputs so much chips and dusts, I hated using this even in the garage with the door open to the outside. There was cleanup required either way. Now I can bring this in my shop and connect the 2 1/2in port to my dust collect with and adapter.I highly recommend this product and I think it is worth every penny. I wonder why it did not come with my machine originally!
