Easy to install as a replacement fan. Our bedroom fan did not have a light but did have the correct wiring, so this was basically a swap out. There are 2 options for the fan blade color. The bonus with this fan is that the lighting comes in 3 shades from a yellow, daytime, to cool white. And within that you can set the dim to full strength of the light. The forward/reverse is easily done with the remote. The install took less time than me getting the screws on the blades ready to hang - so about 30-40 minutes in total. It was a refreshing change. I do wish it came in white, but this works great. My only con is that every time I turn on the fan switch in our room, the light comes on. I don't need that very often, and maybe there's a way I can adjust it so it can't, but that's the only negative I've found.
