The new unit includes all preferred features such as dusk-to-dawn operation, motion sensing, and fully adjustable lights designed to direct illumination exactly where needed.Because the fixture is constructed of plastic and houses LEDs within flat, adjustable pads, the entire assembly is remarkably lightweight. That featherlight design significantly simplifies installation, an advantage further enhanced by using my own lever lock wire connectors during wiring. Aesthetically, the finished installation looks sharp and delivers very bright illumination. I was surprised how bright this LED floodlight is, even at the medium setting.I also want to highlight that these are 5000K lights, which is my favorite color temperature. 5000K produces light that is best described as “pure white”, essentially the color of midday daylight sun.In my first photo, I show how professionally packed the item is in its box, with multiple flaps in the top to hold and protect.In my second photo I show the entire floodlight unit, and the folded-up User Manual.In my third photo I show one side of the unfolded instruction manual, to show you how detailed it is.And then in my fourth photo I show a close-up of the settings/knobs/controls.I used an “Appliance and Power Tool Cord” (Amazon ASIN B07BQCMPF2) along with an extension cord, to test the unit and its brightness, outside, while it was both dark and slightly drizzling, so you can see how bright, and so I could easily test.My final three photos, for comparison purposes, are labelled to show each of the settings for light intensity: low, medium, and high.So, yes, this floodlight is very bright, and you can adjust the brightness to whatever works best for you.

This security light is a solid piece of hardware. The build quality is decent for the price point and the plastic housing doesn't feel cheap or flimsy when you hold it. It has three separate heads that you can tilt and swivel to aim exactly where you need them. Since I am a big guy, I appreciate that the mounting bracket feels sturdy enough to support the weight once it is all wired up on the wall.The brightness is actually quite impressive for something that only pulls 45W of power. Note: the actual power draw was tested at 38.8 watts. It claims to put out up to 5500 lumens and in my experience, it definitely delivers a massive amount of light that covers a wide area. You can adjust the dimming from 10% all the way up to 100%, which is great if you don't want to blind yourself when walking into your garage at night. The motion sensor works well too and picks up movement from quite a distance away, so it doesn't just turn on when you are standing right under it.One of the best features is how much control you have over the settings using the dials on the back. You can choose if you want the light to trigger based on sunlight or moonlight, which helps with energy savings depending on your setup. The delay timer is also adjustable from 30 seconds up to 10 minutes so you aren't left standing in the dark while waiting for it to shut off. It makes setting up the lighting zones very straightforward without needing a manual every five minutes.The weatherproofing seems legit because the IP65 rating means it can handle rain and dust easily. I don't have any issues with it being exposed to different temperatures since it is rated for a wide range. The hardwired design is much better than those cheap solar versions that die after two hours of use. I needed a new motion sensor security light for the eave of my carport after my old one finally bit the dust, and I’ve been very impressed with this one.Installation was straightforward, all the necessary mounting hardware was included, and the instructions were detailed. I especially liked that there’s a reminder right on the back showing the proper orientation depending on whether you mount it on a wall or under an eave. It also has a nice rubber gasket around the mounting base to help keep the weather out.The three light heads offer plenty of adjustment, making it easy to direct the light exactly where I need it across my driveway and carport. The frosted lenses cut down on glare while still putting out an impressive amount of light. The motion sensor has worked very well, and I like having adjustments for sensitivity, brightness, and how long the light stays on.The black housing looks great on my carport, and the whole unit feels sturdy and well made. Most importantly, it is extremely bright and has added a nice extra layer of security around my property.Between the build quality, adjustability, brightness, included hardware, and five-year guarantee, I really can’t ask for much more. It does exactly what a security light should do. I would definitely purchase another one if I needed it.Five stars from me.

I am blown away by this light! First of all, the packaging is very well done. Everything has it's own little spot inside the box so that nothing is banging around during shipping.The light comes with everything that you need to complete the install, including the wire nuts, and zip ties to hold the light during installation if you are doing it by yourself. I thought that was a very thoughtful addition.This light is very easy to install, especially if you are replacing an existing light like I did. Simply remove the old light, attach the two wires, add the wire nuts, and screw it into place. Done.This light also has plenty of way to customize it as well. Modes 1 & 2 are Dusk till Dawn modes, Mode 1 gives you full lighting all night long. Mode 2 will keep the light on a 5% unless movement is detected, giving you a soft light, if needed, all night long. Security Mode - it comes on once movement is detected. And then there is a test mode.Being an LED light, this light will use a lot less power than your typical halogen bulb. Even on full power, this light only uses 45W, compared to a 100W halogen bulb, saving you 55%. On top of that, you have the option to adjust the brightness from 10% up to 100% with the simple turn of a knob.I also like the fact that this light is hardwired, which means you don't have to worry about solar panels going bad, no worrying about replacing batteries, etc.I would highly recommend this light to anyone wanting to upgrade their security lighting. This light has a lot to offer at such a great price! I would rate this product a 10/10!

We are using this light fixture to replace our older incandescent flood lights. Like so many things using LEDs I really like how much less electricity they use, and how much cooler LED light fixtures operate. The three panels of LEDs make it easy to cover a large area (270 degrees) with light, and is useful to illuminate much of our large lot. The motion sensor itself is more directional, and covers a shorter effective distance than the light illuminates, but coverage and sensitivity are very similar to other motion sensors I've used over the years. It was packed well, and arrived with all components in good shape. The manual was clear and adequately covered the things you need to reference to install.One nice thing is the fixture is rated weather resistant, especially the impact of sun UV. We live in the mountains, and the UV at high altitude takes its toll on everything. Having the appearance of the fixtures not fade so rapidly will be an extra. The light panels resist the rain, snow, and dust that the wind blasts at everything. The light has the usual settings for time delay, motion sensitivity, and something I haven't seen before on other lights was the ability to adjust light brightness. It also has a number of operating modes, including dusk-to-dawn if you need security lighting that is illuminated all the time.All in all a great fixture for our application.

This motion sensor floodlight has been a great upgrade for my outdoor security because it provides an impressive amount of brightness while still being energy efficient.
