These are very heavy duty guards and are definitely made out of actual stainless steel. They will last as long as the downspout for sure. I didn't measure my downspout first so they were a little large for mine, but I was able to bend them enough to fit in. They will prevent the spouts from filling with leaves and other tree debris. I'm happy with these!

The rats have used my gutters to travel. I did not want to provide a barrier that needed to be cleaned but this really was the best option. I installed these cages at the downspout so they are easier to clean and sandwiched then on with a new tip extension. They install quickly, fit well and seem to be very durable and high quality. They also look nice and professionally done. My only concern is how often do I need to check them for cleaning?

Great for not letting animals crawl up into the spout. We had a small nest in ours this is goinf to help prevent that. Also wpuld help leaves an stixks from going down into them! They bend an easy to put on
