This is a high-quality shower trim kit for a Moen Posi-Temp. The quality is excellent. It's solid metal and a nice weight and thickness. It's the right size and fit, and the water comes out in a nice even flow. The 8-inch size of the showerhead is good for most showers. We have a small shower, and it's nice and doesn't overwhelm the space. We had a 12-inch before, and it was ridiculous. This one seems to put out just as nice of a flow as the big one, but it looks much more balanced in the space. My teenagers saw it and were like, "What, why? We liked the big one!" but then when they used it, they said, "Oh, this one's just as good, actually. It might even be stronger." 👏👏The black matte finish is excellent, and it looks great in our Carrara shower.Installing it was a breeze. The stop tube, just FYI, is thick plastic rather than metal, and I personally think that's fine (it dampens the noise from the cartridge better and won’t corrode), but just so you know it's the only part that's not metal. I actually used this for a Chateau valve, a Moen 1225, so I had to include my smaller tube stop, which you can see in the photo. I have a small chrome tube stop under the black stop tube, and it works just fine. The foam on the back at the escutcheon is nice and thick. It all feels like it will be durable and hold up.The handle is quite heavy, and it gives you some adapters so you can fit it to different stems. (In my photos, you'll see I had to stick with a crystal handle on a stem extension, but otherwise the black handle would have been great. You'll also see our valve wrapped in tissues because we're checking for a leak!)I think it's a good value for the price. It also includes a short shower arm, which, as you see in our photos, we did not use because we need the height of the arm we have, but it does feel like good quality. It's just that the shower arm escutcheon is the type that has teeth on it, and I'm not crazy about that because they can chew up the finish. The escutcheon is kind of take-it-or-leave-it, but everything else is great. The rainfall shower head is particularly nice. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
