We have multiple metal outbuildings on our property with the roofing having the screws right through the face of the metal. While the original screws do have a gasket seal to keep them from leaking, but over the years those gaskets start to deteriorate from the weather/heat/sun/temperature changes, so we were looking for something help keep those screws from leaking in the future without having to replace all the screws or screw seals. This set of caps are a great way to help prevent the roof from leaking. The caps don't include any kind of glue or sealer to install them, but we have found that just using a small bead of silicone caulk worked just fine to install these over the screws. We originally we started using them bare metal but I think we are going to paint them so they blend in a little better with the current roof color. Overall, we are very happy with these to help keep our buildings sealed and protected from water leaks for years to come.
