This is a pretty good basic tool kit overall, but a couple on elements could be improved.I ordered this to bring over when I helped my mom move into a 55+ community & I knew she didn't really have many tools on hand to tackle small jobs that we'd need to handle. This kit was great for that. We got a lot of use out of the hammer, screwdriver, box cutter, scissors, measuring tape, and even one of the hex keys. It's an excellent kit for small household tasks.Where it falls short is the storage. It's great that it's designed with slotted spaces to hold all of the tools. But it doesn't actually hold everything securely in place as it should. So you might open the case & the hammer could fall out. And depending on how/ where you open it, that could mean it mars your counter, your floor, or even hurts your foot.There were also a few pieces that had an industrial scent, do if you're sensitive to things off gassing, then you might want to air it out before using.
