I ordered these Halo LED recessed can lights for an upcoming bathroom remodel. We currently have 3 lights in the shower, but they've been flickering, so we're planning to replace them. While we only technically need 3, I like having a 4th on hand as a spare—since the trim on this particular light isn't replaceable separately, keeping an extra ready to go in case one fails down the road just seemed like the smart move.Halo is a very well-respected brand, and given the issues we've had with our current fixtures, I wanted to go with a name I could trust for this replacement. The build quality is excellent, which is exactly what I've come to expect from Halo products. Light quality is good as well, and having adjustable color temperature (5CCT) is an important feature for me.We haven't started the actual remodel yet, but the included installation instructions are clear and well laid out, and this looks like a very manageable DIY project. We've installed similar recessed lighting in the past, and this appears to follow the same straightforward process.For the build quality you're getting, the price on these is honestly hard to beat.

The quality is better than the set I picked up for three times the cost. I was told the previous units were commercially rated and could put out a ridiculous number of lumens. What a waste those turned out to be—half of them died within three months, so I took the whole lot down and returned them.I replaced them with these, and wow, they look amazing. The ability to adjust the color temperature, combined with how easy they are to install, makes these a no-brainer for me.They have a nice-looking trim ring, an easy-to-install screw-in base, and clips that hold the light head securely with friction. Each installation took about as long as screwing in a light bulb.They put out a nice, even light with a CRI of 90, giving you excellent color accuracy across the spectrum. These are definitely keepers for me.

I swapped out my old recessed lights for these HALO LED ones, and the difference is amazing. The installation was incredibly easy right out of the box. Thanks to the LED Quick Connect adapter, it was basically a simple plug and play process that only took a few minutes for each light. The matte black trim looks fantastic and instantly gave my ceiling a sleek, modern upgrade compared to the boring old white baffles I had up there before.When it comes to the actual lighting, the brightness is just right for my space. I absolutely love the selectable color temperature feature because it let me test out different settings to find the perfect warmth for the room. They also dim flawlessly with my wall switch, without any annoying buzzing or flickering.I also noticed that the Air Tite seal feels really secure when pushed up flush, which is great for keeping drafts out of the room. Overall, this four pack is a fantastic and cost effective way to modernize a room with premium, customizable lighting. I have several other halo lights so I wasn't surprised that these were great high quality lights! They are a trusted brand.I got these for my back patio. The existing lights had been there for years and were pretty dark. These brightened things up! Install was really easy. I know it's not ideal but the ceiling on my patio is just plywood so I needed something that was pretty universal fitting and these were perfect.The different colors that you can select are all nice...none of them are "weird" if you know what I mean. I like things super bright so I but them on the "hottest" temp.Overall I could not be happier with the quality and value of these lights.

We purchased these can lights to add a cozy vibe and feel to our covered porch and deck area.They were easy to install, they have a beautiful design.I love the ability to customize the color depending on mood, we tend to lean towards warm, dim lighting for porch sitting.They don't flicker, connection is stable, they are great quality and price and the customizable setting is why I purchased.They are wet rated which is another added value if you plan on installing in a bathroom or moisture laden spot.I love the black trim and it looks beautiful on porch ceiling,I couldn't be happier with the quality, price and value of these lights.

I am renovating my bathroom, so for full disclosure, I have not fully installed all of these yet, but did test one out. These are retrofit can lights, meaning you need to have a can housing up in your ceiling. These are not those flat LED retrofits that just need a hole in the drywall of the ceiling, so make sure you are planning to install cans or have old can housings already.As long as you have preexisting (or install) can housings, these go in super quick. Just remove the old can light trim, clip on the wire adapter, plug in, and push the new can light trim up and in.Because these are rated for damp environments, I am installing them into my guest bathroom. That bathroom has a more modern and edgy look, with a wall print that evokes a dark forest. These black trimmed lights add to that look. But just be aware that the trim is black - it might stand out too much for other rooms with lighter color schemes.The quality of the trims and overall construction is top notch, as is to be expected by Halo brand. The ease of install, look, and quality make these a great buy for four.

What a nice set of lights! These lights are just the thing if you are looking to retrofit those that you may already have. Installation is super simple (included directions show you how), but they are so intuitive, you most likely don't need them.One feature of these lights that I really like is the ability to set the color temperature of the light itself. Located on the back of each light can is a slide switch where you can make this selection. The color temperature graphically shows the color range from 2700K (A very warm white) to 5000K (a very white/white blue) most refer to as daylight. This selection typically is my choice because whatever it shines, on brings out its true color. That, and the brighter light is a big help for my older eyes, and they need all the help they can get!Simply kill the power, remove the existing hardware and adjust the spacing of the retaining springs on the new lights. Next, screw the provided pigtail into the existing socket then plug the connector on the pigtail into the connector located at the rear of the light can. Finally, bend the retaining springs upward and slide the springs up into the light cavity and simply push up to seat the outer ring of the light flush with the ceiling. Turn your power back on and you're Done! Really that simple!Another bonus is these lights are rated as dimmable and did worked as stated just fine with my wall mounted digital dimmer. I can not speak for using an older style incandescent dimmer however, as I didn't have any available to test with. Be aware, sometimes these older style dimmers cause a flickering of LED lights. This tends to be more pronounced toward the lower end of adjustment range, so just be aware this might be a possibility.With everything considered, you would be hard pressed to find ceiling lights that offer the features and ease of installation found in these lights. If you are considering putting these lights in, I honestly don't think you will be disappointed.

You can literally install this in about one minute! The first one took a couple minutes as I looked over the instructions but the rest took 1 minute each - if that.Simply remove the old lens and cover by pulling it down and squeezing the two V-shaped clips. Remove the old light bulb. Screw in the wire with light bulb end, clip it to the LED part, then squeeze the clips into place and push it into place. That's it!My house was built in the 90s with exterior can lights in the eves. These fit perfectly. I had a couple with broken clips that were just hanging down.It's easy to set the color temperature but you do have to that to each one manually - just a simple click of a switch. But I never plan to change that over time. You can go from a warm glow to a bright white. And there's no flickering. They feel like they're very well built!I love that they should last for years since I need a ladder to reach most of them.I should point out that the outer diameter of the ring is slightly smaller than the old ones so you may need to touch up some paint if you have wooden eves.
