Don't forget the hose clamps...they're in the box! Good hose for dust collection and otherwise.

[Size: 20']
This is a good price for a long length of large-diameter hose that will help ensure good airflow through its smooth interior. The quality seems good and it is very flexible and easy to work with. I suspect it would not last too long outside as PVC can struggle. The hand-tightening hose clamps are in the box so don't forget those. I almost threw them out!

You will need a ferret smaller than 4 inchesYou will need a ferret smaller than 4 inches

I ordered this hose to replace existing hose for my bandsaw and thickness planar. To cut to the chase, it simply will not fit on EITHER 4" port. It is sub-sized, and this is not my first rodeo. I extended the tubing and patiently tried to fit it around either port on the Dewalt planar or the Griz bandsaw and I could stretch it over neither. My old 4" hose slips over snuggly. So, not the end of the world, but I will need to 3d print some adapters. PITA! I think this stuff may be metric sized (ie 10 cm) which is slightly smaller than 4", and could explain the problem. I can't recommend this hose, and the only reason I gave it 3 stars and not 2 is that if you have a ferret, smaller than 4", he or she should have a ball scampering along these hoses.

MORE than enough

I grabbed this to use out in my garage with my new laser systems and dust collector. I normally vent outside, but as I get into more 3D Reliefs, I needed something to capture all that dust. This hose reaches across my shop (aka garage) and then some. It is well-built and I like having the clear material to be able to spot and sections that may have a restriction, etc. before it becomes a real issue.

Great hose - mediocre clampsGreat hose - mediocre clamps

[Size: 20', Size: 20']
The hose works well and fits the 4" fittings that I have in my shop.I have some other flexible hoses: one is lighter and more flexible, but more likely to crush. The other is less likely to crush but is very stiff. This one seems like a good middle ground. The clear hose is easy to see if you have a clog.Make sure you trim the plastic close to the support wire, otherwise it tends to fold into the opening and make it difficult to slide onto the fitting.I am not a fan of the clamps that come with it. Tool-free is a great idea, but these don't work very well. The finger paddles are wide enough to catch on the tail of the clamp. You also have to be careful where you put the clamp, or it will catch on the support wire.

Great for woodworking dust collection. No idea how it performs for ferrets.

[Size: 20']
This is an excellent, affordable hose for a standard woodworking dust collector with a 4" hose hookup.I find it absolutely hysterical the listing also says it's for ferret tunnels. I can't speak to its quality for use as weird-looking mustelidae carnivore travelways, but for woodworking dust collectors, it's a great product. The hose is made of appropriately thick clear PVC which makes it resistant to punctures, as any good dust collection hose should be. If you use it to connect to a floor intake for sweeping up the shop, you won't have to worry about a stray nail damaging it. The coil running through it provides enough rigidity and allows for a grounding connection if you are concerned about static build up. The included clamps are adequate and easy to operate, though the "keys" for tightening are just thin plastic. If you have to swap the hose between machines a lot, it might be wise to invest in some clamps with a sturdier mechanism for tightening. For around $45, this is a great buy and a useful length for any average home workshop using a dust collector.

Great value!Great value!

[Size: 20', Size: 20']
Good sturdy flexible hose that's made of thick enough material to keep it from being easily punctured and it holds its shape. I'm using this in conjunction with PVC piping and PVC manifolds. The flexible hose makes it a lot easier to connect everything, especially around obstacles and for mobile tools. I like that I can see inside it to keep track of how much buildup there is and also how easy it is to take apart for cleaning. I use quick release hose clamps at the ends that are removed frequently. When the Hose is stretched straight there's very little ridge left on the inside to catch dust. In addition to the 20' of 4" hose, four wing-screw clamps are included. It's easy to cut to size, the wire can be cut with standard wire cutters. Very reasonably priced for the quality. Recommended.

{2026-05-26@0444 * This review is for “Rocaris 4" x 20' Dust Collection Hose, Flexible Clear PVC Puncture Resistant Fume Hose with Carbon Steel Wire, for Woodworking, Dust Collector and Ferrets Tunnels”, Sold by: Rocaris Direct, $45.99}4” dust collector hose20 foot expanded length.Comes with four thumb turn hose clamps.Though the listing states “slight odor”, I did not feel that it was overwhelming at all (kinda pleasant actually), and should dissipate after being aired out for a couple of days. There is a steel wire the entire length of the hose, to help prevent from collapsing under vacuum/suction.If needed, you should be able to connect earth ground to this wire using mechanical fastener (such as a screw terminal strip) to help prevent any static build up.Would recommend.

Overall this is a fine dust collection hose, it's your standard spiral wire structured hose. I appreciate the length that it has without having to put a connector in place to make it across my shop. However the packaging for the product is a bit lacking. The hose itself came with some kinks from being bent tightly which came out once it was stretched but the band clamps were just haphazardly thrown in and mangled pretty badly. In my case I could just straighten them out and use them but I could see where this could have been bent up enough to lead to broken clamps.
