Easy Install and the Ants Finally Got the Message

[Color: Black, Number of Items: 1]
Easy to install and, more importantly, it actually solved my problem. It comes with two ways to secure it to the bottom of the door, so getting a good fit wasn't difficult.I installed it on my back door because I had some pretty big ants finding their way inside through the gap. Since putting this on, that entrance has been shut down. The material feels sturdy, it's easy to cut to the size you need, and it seals the bottom of the door well without making installation into a project.Simple product, easy installation, and no more giant ants strolling through my back door like they pay rent.

This door draft stopper is a fantastic buy. It sticks very well to the door. It blocks outside air and bugs from coming inside. You can easily cut it to fit your door. The rubber part is a bit stiff at first, but it works great overall. What I LikeStrong Adhesive: The tape on the back is very sticky. It stays in place on the door. Also, screws provided for a stronger support.Easy to Cut: You can use scissors to trim the plastic and rubber to the exact size of your door. The weight is light and easy to trim and hold to adjust pacing.Blocks Drafts Well: It seals the gap at the bottom of the door. It stops cold air from leaving and hot air from entering.Areas to Consider ImprovingStiff Rubber Fin: The rubber seal at the bottom is a bit hard when you first put it on. It can make a slight scraping sound on tile floors until it breaks in a little bit.

Hands down the best door strip I've found thus far.Hands down the best door strip I've found thus...

Once we tore up the carpet in our home and replaced it with faux wood vinyl floors, the doors were no longer flush with the floor. Heat and cold air (depending on the season) would leak right through large gaps at the bottom, and we lost quite a bit of sound muffling. As a result, we've tried several different door sweeps / draft stoppers and so far, this has been the only one we were happy with. It stops drafts, limits noise pollution and it looks great installed. The strip is black, so it hides scuffs very well. This weather stripping fits doors up to 36" wide. For smaller doors, just cut it to length with high quality scissors or a utility knife. This weather stripping is made of high quality silicone that holds its shape very well. It has 3 full sides with bristles at the bottom. Each side has peel and stick adhesive to securely seal both sides of the door. Installation is easy, I recommend getting the strip in place before peeling, and peeling / sticking one side at a time, unless you have an extra set of hands to do both sides at once.I will definitely be purchasing more of these to fill the other door gaps in our home. I would also like to find a 48" strip for my obnoxiously large front door.

Different theory I have not seen in storesDifferent theory I have not seen in stores

[Color: Black, Number of Items: 1, Color: Black, Number of Items: 1]
So I’m used to going to Home Depot every three years to get a new door weatherstripping, because of the tile in the front entryway there’s not a lot of space between the bottom of the door and the floor. After three years or so one of the vinyl fins gets ripped off, so I go and get a new one and install it.This is an interesting whole new option that I have not seen in stores. Instead of the vinyl fins, it’s fuzzy weatherstripping as you can see in the pictures. The weatherstripping itself comes separate in the box, I almost thought I got a bad delivery when I first opened it till I found them. Two notable differences, one is that while it comes with screws, there are no pre-drilled holes. I suspect the reason is because of number two, there’s VHB tape on the inside. Given this is the first time I’ve used a system like this, I decided to go with the fastener method so I could adjust as needed after a few uses. I like the idea of the adhesive, maybe I just have commitment issues. It was a pretty simple thing to hold both the Old and new and old together to the holes. I wanted to drill with a pencil. A 1/8 drill bit did the trick.I really like the sealing method of this, I may have just found a solution for having to replace this thing every 3 years. If this lasts 3 years I think it is a good value, any time beyond that will make me super happy

Pretty good

Seems to work pretty well for keeping out cold/hot air around the bottom of the door. We will give it a bit, and probably order a few more.

Door sweep

[Color: Black, Number of Items: 1]
This door sweep is made of nice heavy, sturdy feeling vinyl. I like that it can be attached using the adhesive alone, it you can’t or don’t want to screw into your door. There are 9 screws included. Either way you can get a smooth and secure fit. The sweep should make a good seal against drafts and help bar bug as well. It was very easy to apply to the door. It slides right on and fit the thickness and width of my door perfectly. Unfortunately the exterior door that I intended to use it on, has too small of a gap toward the hinge side to install the sweep properly. Even with cutting the bristles off on that end, it would still be too tight. Even if that had worked, it would have been too janky and unsightly for my taste. Before ordering this sweep, I suggest taking a close look at the clearance of the door you intend to install it on, and make sure there is enough of a gap all the way across the bottom. So even though it did not work for my door, I think it’s a good quality product.

Great productGreat product

[Color: Black, Number of Items: 1, Color: Black, Number of Items: 1]
Although not the fault of the product, I was not able to use this due to the type of threshold I have. I will be keeping it though since I will be replacing a threshold soon on my garage door. I tried to mount it on my door and it turns out, my door has a fin on the bottom I never noticed that fits into the threshold. All to say, you might want to take the time to check that out prior to ordering this type since it wraps the bottom of your door entirely. The weather stripping is amazing quality and the adhesive so strong, it took off some paint on my wood door when taking it back off. If I had that to do over again, I would have used a heat gun. Not a huge deal, it needed to be touched up anyway. I am however, disappointed I couldn’t use this since it would do everything it advertises in keeping out bugs, drafts and dirt. The bottom of the door weather stripping has thick and strong yet soft bristles and overall I feel it would last a long time and protect your door from water damage or the occasional scuff by someone’s shoes. For the price and quality, I would not only recommend it but if I change out my thresholds over time, I will purchase others.
