I really love ceiling fans. The house stays cooler with less cost than cooling the entire house with central AC. I have fans in almost every room in the house. In the summer afternoons, when the heat is building in the house and the older air conditioner is starting to struggle, I turn on the fan in my office, cover the floor vents in rooms we rarely use, and am able to finish my day comfortably and productively - directly under the fan. As I finish work and move to other rooms, I’m able to turn off the fan in the office and turn on the one in the kitchen where I work next. Same thing when moving into the living room to watch TV and the bedroom to sleep. By then the house is dissipating heat. Come morning, the house is cool again and the process starts over. The fans are all reversible. In winter, they help move the warm air collecting at the ceiling back down towards the floor. Minimalistic and modern design makes the look crisp and sophisticated. Clean, uncluttered lines offer simplicity and style all while doing a great job moving air. It came well packaged and nothing was damaged. This fan does not have a light. The DC motor is quiet and uses less electricity. It also generates less heat than standard AC fans. Installation was surprisingly simple and straightforward. WINGO has an instructional video on its sales page that I found very useful. This fan operates from the light switch and also offers a remote for ease and convenience. This is a highly functional, yet beautiful fan. Worth the money.

Overall good fan. We mounted this fan outside on our covered deck sitting area to replace one that had aged out. We use indirect lighting in the ceiling canopy for some things but also have those string patio lights for other times so we prefer a fan without a light kit for our purposes and this fit the bill perfectly. Installation was very straightforward especially since it was replacing an existing ceiling fan. The blades attach to the motor housing with two allen screws each then hang and wire the fan. Simple three wire - hot, neutral and ground - hookup so any handy DIYer can install this easily in under 30 minutes.The housing and trim is metal while the blades are a warm, rich finish and it almost gives a propeller look but not quite. Now as it is outside there doesn’t seem to be much noise coming from the fan other than the movement of air, even on quiet nights listening to the crickets and cicadas.Finally, the remote control has lots of features like a timer that I use more than I thought I would. That part of the deck is attached to the house but the covered area is further out and does not connect to the house (sort of a pavilion style) so it has its own light switches. So, when you would leave the fan on forgetting to turn it off, you’d have to go out during the night or in the rain to turn the fan off. We mounted the remote by the back door so we can easily adjust the fan speed, timer or turning it off/on. So far so good! Five stars
