does the job for the most part

[Color: Purple]
Overall impression: [***] This adapter came in handy for my family on a trip to Europe. The charge time is very slow and it wouldn't work at all with my smart ring recharger. It would connect and charge for about 30 seconds then quit. It did work to charge our phones, and that was the most important thing for us. The original price is steep, but the current price is tolerable.Item: ORICO Ultra-Thin GaN Travel Adapter 25W, International Plug AdapterFair market value: $29.99Current price (as of this review): $17.99Pros: does the job for the most part, multiple country configurationsCons: slowHow I rate:5 Stars = Great. Exceeds expectations, love and would buy again.4 Stars = Good. Just what I was looking for, minor, acceptable issues.3 Stars = Okay. Does the job, with issues.2 Stars = Meh. Might work for you, but doesn't work for me. I wouldn't buy again.1 Stars = Junk. Complete waste of a product.Note: I received this product for free through Amazon Vine in exchange for an honest review.

Compact GaN travel adapter that handles nearly every outlet worldwide

[Color: White]
The ORICO Ultra-Thin GaN Travel Adapter 25W, International Plug Adapter with 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A Ports, 5-in-1 Universal Power Adapter Worldwide for US EU UK AU 200+ Countries (10A 2500W Max) has genuinely impressed me as a travel companion on recent trips across Europe and Southeast Asia. The slide-out plug system is smooth and intuitive, and I appreciated not having to fumble with separate adapters for different countries. The GaN technology keeps the unit noticeably cool during extended use, which was reassuring when I had multiple devices charging simultaneously. With two USB-C and two USB-A ports, I could power my laptop, phone, earbuds, and smartwatch all at once without needing a separate hub. That said, the 25W output is shared across all ports, so fast-charging a power-hungry laptop alongside other devices can be a little slow. I also found the adapter body slightly bulkier than I expected given the "ultra-thin" branding, though it is still far more compact than carrying multiple country-specific adapters.Overall, this is a well-built, thoughtfully designed adapter that simplifies international travel considerably. Minor limitations aside, it has earned a permanent spot in my travel bag.

Slim, Versatile, and Perfect for Any TripSlim, Versatile, and Perfect for Any Trip

[Color: White, Color: White]
I originally picked up this adapter for international travel, but it has quickly become a permanent fixture in my travel bag for every trip, including those within the US.Hotel rooms are notorious for having limited power outlets, so the ability to split a single plug into four USB ports and a standard AC outlet is incredibly useful. The standout feature here is the form factor. As advertised, it is exceptionally slim, making it easy to slide into a small backpack or pocket without the bulk typical of universal adapters. In terms of performance, I tested it with a variety of phones and tablets. Devices that charge at 25W work perfectly, but those requiring higher wattages are limited. While it doesn't support the super fast charging speeds available on my S26, that is a reasonable trade-off for such a portable design. The aesthetics are a nice touch as well. The white finish looks clean, and the black sliders create a sharp, unique contrast that makes the unit stand out. This is a fantastic choice for anyone prioritizing portability and versatility. While it won't power high-wattage devices at top speed, its slim profile and port density make it an essential travel companion.

Well-Built, Compact Travel AdapterWell-Built, Compact Travel Adapter

[Color: White, Color: White]
Our family travels often to other countries for vacation. We are well versed in dealing with different electrical standards across different countries, and already have a collection of converters and plugs ready for the next trip. Admittedly, our plugs are outdated - no safety features, no USB ports, and it's a smorgasboard in a bag. I picked up the Orico travel adapter mostly because it's time to upgrade, and the Orico has everything I was hoping to see in a travel adapter.First, the adapter is reasonably small, lightweight, and easy to pack. All of the international plugs retract neatly into the body using slide mechanisms, so there are no loose pieces to keep track of. It also comes with a nice durable carrying pouch—not a thin throwaway—which is a thoughtful addition. Build quality seems good, and it feels solid and well made for an electrical device. The sliding mechanisms operate smoothly, and while the deployed plugs understandably have a bit of wriggle, the US plug seats securely in a standard outlet when plugged in. The European plug extends further out (1.5" on full extension) and has a bit more play than the others, but that's likely a design intent so it can properly engage the recessed outlets commonly found in Europe.I also like the versatility. The adapter accepts both two-prong and three-prong U.S. plugs, while providing US, UK, Euro, and Aussie plug configurations for international travel. Not to undersell it, those options also cover much of Asia and many countries in Latin America. The one feature I really want is the 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C ports, because that reduces the number of chargers I need to pack. The other feature I appreciate is the 10A fuse for added protection.I tested this in the US to assure this would work when I do travel. Both the AC outlet and USB charging worked as expected. I also measured the operating temperature under varying loads and scenarios. Even while charging multiple devices at once, the adapter stayed only modestly above ambient, and that's exactly the thermal performance I'd hope to see in a modern GaN charger. I haven't yet verified the other international outlets, but everything I could test performed as expected. The price was $29.99 when I picked this up, and I thought that was a bit high but worth the value based on the solid build, USB ports and GaN design.

Fantastic device that makes charging much easier while traveling.

[Color: White]
This adapter is great on international trips, but also works in the U.S. I have found that there is a shortage of outlets on some rooms abroad. This device allows me to charge several times at the same time. The power output from the USB-C ports is 25 watts, but that is enough to power my cordless charger. I can also charge other items at the same time. While I have only used the adapter in a U.K. setting, I cannot comment on travel in the rest of Europe and Australia, but I am confident that it will hold up well. The retracting prongs and light weight make this a must have for travel.

This is a very nice international travel adapter with both a pass-through 120 / 240 V (it does NOT convert voltage!) and four USB outputs. The International plugs should be able to handle the majority of locals to which you may travel and I was especially pleased to see the depth and form factor of the EU plug as I have run into issues in some EU countries with more basic adapters. Selecting the proper plug is easy and connectors snap in place for a good connection. With two USB A, and two USB C you can connect plenty of devices for charging. The 25 W total output should be adequate for most uses and close inspection of the nameplate shows it is capable of many 'quick-charge' variations up to 12 V. While it is a bit large for 25 W capacity, it does incorporate several international plug combinations including the very large UK style, plus pass-through 120 / 240 V, so it packs a lot of capability in a small size. In the photo I give size comparisons to my existing 100 W charger (from which I can run my laptop if my regular power supply fails or gets lost -- at 25 W this may be able to run a small chromebook, but could charge the battery overnight if needed). Also in the picture is a 20 W Apple iPad charger (single USB C output, and much less versatile in its quick-charge repertoire. I tested it charging my iPhone, my iPad, a flashlight and a travel shaver and it seemed to handle the load well. I would recommend this for any international tourist or casual business traveler.

Excellent all-in-one travel adapter that’s compact and incredibly convenientExcellent all-in-one ...

[Color: Black, Color: Black]
I purchased this for an international trip, and it quickly became one of my favorite travel accessories. The first thing I noticed was just how lightweight it is. It barely adds any weight to my backpack or carry-on, and the ultra-thin design makes it easy to slip into a tech pouch or even a jacket pocket. When you’re trying to pack efficiently, that compact footprint really makes a difference. The functionality is excellent. Instead of carrying multiple charging bricks and adapters, this combines everything into one device. I was able to charge my phone, Apple Watch, earbuds, power bank, and laptop from a single outlet, which was especially helpful in hotel rooms and airports where outlets can be limited. The USB ports are one of my favorite features. Having two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports gives you plenty of flexibility, whether you have newer devices or older accessories. I never had to decide which device to charge first because there was room for everything. The charging capability also exceeded my expectations. The USB-C fast charging worked great for my phone, and everything charged reliably without slowing down or overheating. It handled multiple devices simultaneously with no issues, making it a true all-in-one charging solution while traveling. It’s also incredibly easy to use. The different plug types slide out smoothly and lock securely into place, and switching between countries takes just a few seconds. I also appreciate the built-in safety features, including the 10A fuse and protections against overcurrent and short circuits, which gave me confidence plugging in my electronics overseas.Another huge advantage is that it’s compatible with outlets in over 200 countries. Whether you’re traveling through Europe, the UK, Australia, Japan, or many other destinations, you only need to pack this one adapter.Just keep in mind that this is a plug adapter, not a voltage converter. As long as your electronics support 100-240V, which most modern phones, laptops, tablets, and chargers do, you’ll be good to go.I think this offers excellent value for the money. You get a premium-feeling, compact travel adapter that replaces several chargers and adapters while taking up very little space in your luggage. Between the lightweight design, versatile USB ports, reliable charging performance, and worldwide compatibility, it’s one of those travel purchases that pays for itself after just a trip or two. I’ll definitely be packing it on all of my future international travels.

[Color: White, Color: White]
I travel to the Middle East several times a year, so over time I have accumulated quite a collection of travel plug adapters. Oddly enough though, I never ended up buying one that has built-in USB charging ports. Because of that, I am constantly packing separate USB power blocks just so I can charge my phone, earbuds, and other electronics. Another issue I regularly run into is that the country I visit is not exactly known for having the strictest electrical standards, so many of the wall outlets are loose fitting. The bulky travel adapters combined with charging blocks makes them much looser and more likely to fall out, especially if it's a wall outlet. So, having the built-in USB ports really is a great advantage. After using it, I wish I had bought something like this years ago. The two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports gave me plenty of charging options for my phone, tablet, earbuds, and power bank while still leaving the AC outlet available for another device. It's like a mini power strip! And since you don't need to plug in power block anymore, the adapter will be less likely to fall out, especially since it has a nice compact size and is lightweight. And you can fullly pull in both power prongs, which makes it even easier to store for travel. And the fact that it's reversible, meaning you can convert US power into European or the other way around, makes it really versatile. And it's all done by two switches. I took pictures so you can see with the US prong pulled out and the European. And that's a great plus if you travel a lot and bring electronic devices back and forth between both countries. And it has fast USB-C charging! This really is a great adapter. It is very functional and versatile. And it feels well-made. It is worth so much more than its list price. And it comes with a nice fabric storage bag to prevent it from getting scratched or damaged when you travel. I will likely buy 3 or 4 more of them for my whole family to each have one.
