I'm running about 1800W of solar into a 3600W hybrid inverter in my shed workshop with about 15kwh of batteries strapped to it, and I needed safety and load management better than a single pair of outlets could provide, given I have multiple server PC's, an AC Minisplit, and occasssional surge from power tools on the AC loads. This 2P 20A DIN mount breaker does exactly that—lets me split off two independent 120V lines with proper overload and short-circuit protection. The build quality is reassuring. It has that satisfying "clacky" feel you want from a breaker, and it mounts to standard DIN rail. Thermal-magnetic trip function works as advertised. I'm picking up a second one to build out a small subpanel, and I have no hesitation about trusting this for the job.Ameho's specs are solid and clearly documented—rated 120/240V with a wide operating range and 10,000 mechanical cycles. DIN rail mounting is genuinely hassle-free, except when I manage to cut my own fingies on the rail itself, and the instant trip response on overload or short circuit is exactly what you need for safety-critical applications. Fewer surprises is best.5/5 for being what they say they are and doing what they say they will, and for $10.

This breaker is a cost effective shutoff and circuit breaker for the ac side of a solar system without the extra expense of a breaker panel, for what would only likely be 1-2 Breakers coming off an inverter.I setup this breaker as the main breaker for a 25amp continuous load, which at 125% this 32amp breaker is just the right size recommended for code.the breaker comes with a short din rail piece for mounting if you dont already have an enclosure. This breaker is an excellent safety shutoff for working on the ac side of my solar system, as well as a main breaker ensuring that the total amount of power coming off my system doesnt exceed the breaker or wiring capacity, which would only be possible if my generator was running and the inverter was in bypass mode, although I do not have any loads that large to trip the breaker. The lugs are large and will accept a wide range of wire sizes although I used 8awg wire from my inverter to this breaker and between 2 breakers from each split phase of my inverter. The breaker has a green/red indicator for off being green/breaker switch down and red being on/breaker switch up.While I used this as a main breaker for my solar inverter, it can also be used for a breaker or switch for any type of machinery, just size the breaker correctly to the wiring or equipment.

There are many manufacturers of these "miniature" circuit breakers that you can purchase from. I probably have 5 or 6 different brands, and all of them tend to be pretty similar. This one is no exception. I needed a 50A for a small solar project and this AMEHO unit seemed to fit the bill, so I ordered.Overall, the quality of this breaker is on par with many of the others I have ordered in the past. It does include a metal rail if you don't already have a place to install (panel, box, etc). It has the snap in clips on the back which lock it into place on the rail, like it should. Wire inserts and screws were also good quality and worked well for my application - ON/OFF function was smooth and authoritative. No complaints and it met expectations, so I am rating this breaker five stars.

Not sure why this is rated at 32 amps and not 30. It must be European or something. But either way it doesn't matter. Close enough for what i needed it for. This is final piece i needed to take my garage off the old screw in type fuses and get it updated to a din rail breaker system and din rail ats for a solar backup. Equipment list is completed now its time for the project to commence. I personally prefer din mount equipment over tradition style breakers and boxes. There are so many more options and gadget you can buy and it all sits neatly together and looks great. To be honest traditional breakers may be a little bit more robust in ways but we use din mount at my company for high amp loads and heavy duty equipment with no problems whatsoever. So thats all the proof i need that this is a viable option. These units always come with a small section of rail to mount anywhere you like or you can get a box like i did. Product has all the quality markers i look for in our industrial setups at work. Looks good and imbsure itll work great.

It is DIN rail mountable and comes with a strip of DIN rail in case you need it. The flip switch is visible and easy to help with closing or opening a circuit. Though the product description includes specification for AC application and on passing says it can be used in solar panel distribution box; usually a breaker designed to work in AC circuit has to have a special magnets to break in a DC circuit. Because of the difference transmission profiles of AC and DC currents, unless the manufacturer gives the spec to use on a DC circuit it is taking a risk to use the breaker in a DC circuit. If you have to use it in a DC line, roughly the voltage has to be 1/2 of the allowed AC voltage and the same for amperage that are included as a part of AC circuit spec for this product. I have this as a spare in case one of my breaker fails in the middle of the night.
