I love these magnetic door catches! They are little on the pricey side but I will say they hold way way better than cheapo models. You can hear them snap into place and they magnetic grip is impressive – perhaps due to it having two rare earth magnets.They are a simple and effective fix for cabinets, drawers, and closet doors that refuse to stay closed. The strong holding power can easily pull slightly misaligned doors shut. Plus they’re low profile enough to stay hidden. Installation is easy and I like how they came with adhesive strips. I used the tape to get everything aligned then just leave the tape in place and screw it in. You could just adhesive on lighter drawers. Pro tip: Before installing clean the surfaces with rubbing alcohol first because it will help improve the hold.The overall construction feels sturdy. I suggest drilling pilot holes before screwing in to help ease the installation and give a polished look. The six-pack provides plenty of catches for multiple projects and offers good value compared with cheapo models or replacing hinges or other cabinet hardware. I’m happy with them and you will be too. I’m using multiple magnets per lower kitchen cabinet as an invisible toddler deterrent, and apparently the greatest advancement in home security is convincing a small child that a cabinet door simply doesn’t work. He sees the door. He tugs. The door refuses to participate. He stares at it briefly, accepts this new limitation of the physical universe, and moves on. No visible child locks, no plastic contraptions hanging everywhere, no kitchen that looks like OSHA recently cited Fisher-Price.The magnets stay completely hidden and provide just enough resistance that the cabinets aren’t worth the effort without making them annoying for an adult to open. They work beautifully. Unfortunately, their success has not reduced the overall threat level. It has merely redirected him toward other unsecured areas of the house, so apparently I’m now in an arms race with someone who still occasionally eats Cheerios off the floor.

I ordered these cabinet magnets on June 11, 2026 and they arrived on June 17, 2026. The product package is a black, plastic bubble envelope. Inside, each of the six magnet sets were individually packed with adhesive strips and screws. Nothing was damaged, all parts were accounted for and they looked new. The magnets look just like the product pictures and the dimensions listed are accurate.I used the magnets with the adhesive strips to make it harder for my toddler to open the draws in the kitchen. I had baby-proofed the doors, but those magnetic locks I used for the doors are too big to fit the draws. These magnets are thin enough to fit on the edge of the draws and they are hardly noticeable when the draw is closed.The hold on these magnets is very good. Sometimes I go to open the draws and for a second I think they are stuck, until I remember the magnets are on them. It does take more effort to pull the draws open and when I don't close them all the way, the magnets pull the draws shut. These are great. When my toddler stretches up to open the draws like she used to, the magnets hold well. For now she isn't strong enough to open the magnets, especially since she stands on her toes to reach the draw handles.We have been using these magnets for weeks and the adhesive is holding well. I haven't have reason to use the screws because the adhesive strips provided are doing the job.At $19.99 they are at the higher end of the price range compared to similar products on Amazon. I really like these, they are easy to install, but I wouldn't pay $20 for 6 of them.

The item arrived with no apparent damage.The double magnet catch is pretty strong if you can get the magnets and catch plate to come together with full contact. There is no “float” in the design to allow for slight misalignments.The countersunk holes in both plates are marginally deep enough for the supplied screws. If you drive the screws slightly off enter of the holes, the heads may protrude and prevent the magnet and catch plate from fully contacting.They worked fine for the cabinet door catch application I ordered them for.I did not even try the adhesive strips with my application requiring that they be mounted to painted wood. Other reviews indicate that the adhesive did not work well in some applications.At ~$10 at the time of order for the three-pack of these catches, they are more expensive than many other offerings at retail stores and on Amazon. Check other listings before you purchase this one. That said, be sure to confirm the holding power of other offerings before just shopping by price.

This magnetic door catch was a great solution for a door that simply would not stay closed. The troublesome door is at work and is very annoying because it constantly hits my leg, so I needed a permanent solution. Velcro eventually stopped working and short of getting a new track system, magnets were next on the list. It was so easy to install!! I measured the width of the space and the magnet, which was a fit. You can attach the door catch with double sided sticky tape or screws. I used the screws for a permanent fix.I recommend pre drilling small holes with a drill first, as that will make inserting the screws so much easier. I didn’t have a drill at work so I just used my muscles and pushed really hard with a screw driver!! It worked!! The magnets feel pretty strong, but one little one did pop out but I pushed it back in place. It has not moved since. The draw now stays closed when I shut it and I’m so pleased it will no longer be hitting my leg.
