Two Hole Conduit Strap Clamp

Bought this 30-pack of two-hole pipe straps for securing EMT conduit runs during a service upgrade, and they've been exactly what I needed for a clean, professional looking install. Being 304 stainless steel means these aren't going to rust or corrode even in a damp crawlspace or outdoor application, which is a real upgrade over the zinc plated straps that start showing surface rust within a year or two.The 1 inch sizing fits standard EMT conduit snugly without being so tight that it's a fight to get the conduit seated, and the two-hole design gives a much more secure, wobble-free mount to the wall or framing compared to a single hole strap that can pivot over time. Thickness of the steel feels substantial, these aren't thin stamped straps that bend out of shape when you tighten the mounting screws.Having 30 in a pack means I didn't have to make a second trip or order more mid-project, which is always appreciated when you're trying to get a job done in one go. These seem good for my purposes. I am using these to locate 4" schedule 40 pvc for a radon system vent up the outside wall. They aren't holding any weight to speak of. I hope they hold up to the elements.

304 stainless is what all outside hardware needs to be where I live, the beach. As a custom homes builder/electrician, 304 stainless has to be used with screws or hardware such as these conduit straps being that the salt air and water destroys anything galvanized, zinc, or 410 stainless. It just simply does not hold up then rusts, stains and breaks after years of exposure. We use 2-1/2" straps like these for securing our conduit to the electric poles for home underground services up the pole to the utility tap. They feel just as strong as other straps and if true 304 stainless, we should never have an issue, only time will tell. I have no issue using these straps for future projects as long as they continue to hold up and the price point stays competitive.

True to size stainless straps. Only order these if the mounting holes are the size you need, drilling out stainless steel is not easy to do. The mounting holes are 1/4 or 6mm so if you are using bolts or rivets of that size then you should be good or even 3/16 size rivets. They are very light weight but still very rigid so they should hold what you need but I would not rely on the thickness to hold something like a pop rivet put through backwards. It will need a washer or placed face forward with the rivet sitting on top.You can very easily bend one of these if needed like placing these on the edge of a surface instead of flat on both sides. The width of the strap is a bit over 5/8 wide or exactly 17mm. From tip to tip its roughly 2 3/4 long so it will easily fit on 3" wide material. Its nice to get stuff like this measured by its actual size than just the sizing of the conduit thats supposed to fit in it.

These stainless steel pipe straps are simple but well made. The 11/16-inch size works well for securing appropriately sized wire, cable, tubing, or conduit, and the two mounting holes make it easy to get a secure installation.The stainless steel construction is a big plus, especially for projects where moisture or corrosion could be an issue. They feel sturdy without being overly thick or difficult to work with.Overall, these are useful clamps to have around for electrical, automotive, marine, or general projects. The 50-pack gives you plenty to work with and they provide a much cleaner installation than leaving wiring or tubing unsupported.

This is a really good set of little clamps. I think the most important part of this review is that these clamps are actually really heavy duty. They do not wilt or bend or twist under the load of the pipe that they are holding. I recently used some of these to hold the pipe conduit for an electrical job that I was repairing The holders fit the pipe perfectly, and they look good once installed. The finishing touch that these add to the work make the pipes almost look like a work of art instead of just pipe conduit. Overall, I really like these conduit clamps because they are true to size, they fit the pipe, and they are very strong. Recommended!

I was a little surprised by how flexible these clamps are, the metal is quite thin. They are not nearly as strong as the galvanized clamps I'm used to. They do appear to be genuine stainless steel so if you're in it place where corrosion resistance is of primary importance and you are able to fasten well on both tabs they should do the job. For the price we probably cannot expect them to be super heavy duty.One thing to keep in mind is that the measurements given is the inside of the clamp. They are not nominal plumbing sizes. These 1 inch clamps fit three-quarter inch plumbing fairly well, they are not sized for 1 inch pipes.
