This LED lamp was easy to connect - even though the directions were hard to find, I was able to do without and then found them at the very bottom of the box and double checked that it was right. The only downside of this lamp is that you have to use the app to turn it on and off, or unplug it. The power button only changes the ball lamp settings. This seems like maybe a $50 item and even that would be a stretch. This lamp is a nice thing to have in an office or gaming room to add some ambiance, its not super bright and I do recomend facing the pole lights towards the wall, otherwise it does not look as good. The base is sold and is not easy to tip over, that is a huge plus for a light like this, the remote color changing is pretty neat, I usually keep it as a slow color changing mode with the top staying a solid color. The quality for price is nice the metal materials make it feel premium, the only exception is the RGB diffusers feel thin, flexible So be careful with those.Overall I am happy with it and it sits in the corner of my office setting the mood without me needing to have a bright overhead light on.

The combination of the soft-glow globe on top and the full-length illuminated pole creates a really unique visual dynamic. Because it stands at just under 5 feet tall (58.5” to be exact) and has a very slim, black profile with a compact base, it tucks easily into a corner or next to a chair without dominating the room's decor. It is powered by a generous 60” USB-C cable, which made finding a spot for it near an outlet pretty easy.The setup was incredibly simple, and I appreciate that you don't actually need your phone just to use it; there is a handy 4-way touch switch right at the top of the tube that lets you control the globe independently. However, downloading the LotusLamp X App via Bluetooth is where the lamp really shines. You can control the globe and the pole light completely independently, allowing you to mix a warm white light on top for reading while setting a vibrant RGB color gradient on the pole for ambiance. The app includes hundreds of built-in effects and a music-sync mode that responds well, making it a great accent piece for relaxing or entertaining.

My only complaint is that the box didn’t include any instructions at all nothing inside or printed on the packaging. There was no information about which app to download, so setup took longer than it should have. Once I figured it out, everything worked fine, but the lack of guidance was frustrating. Overall, it’s a stylish, bright, and fun smart lamp with easy assembly, but the missing instructions definitely take away from the first‑time experience.

This is such a fun lamp. My son loves all of the different settings of color changing options. There are a ton of options. It’s easy to use with the app and you can turn it on and off when you are not even near it. It was very easy to put together. It’s kind of an odd height so you need to have a specific place in mind where you would want to keep it. I do wish you could turn it off by touching the button on the actual lamp but for me that has only turned off the top lamp and not the pole. Still it’s very fun and entertaining to watch.
