The finish is a black matte. This will fit nicely with many modern bathroom fixtures. The tub spout flares out slightly and has an unusual presentation. We are renovating a 100 year old house, so we inherited a lot inside and out, and one of the things we added was an entirely new bathroom. Because of that we needed a full shower kit and I was so excited to get this one.I have always loved these types of shower heads and I have used them in other people’s houses before, but I have never actually had one of my own. We have really good water pressure already, so when I saw this rainfall style shower head I was like oh my gosh I finally get to have one of these.Right now we are laying the floors. We already have the base in and the walls in and tomorrow we are installing this entire system and I honestly cannot wait to finally take a shower in there.The build quality feels really good. Being stainless steel and all metal construction, it feels durable and like it is going to hold up really well long term. It does not feel flimsy at all. I also absolutely love the matte black finish. It looks super chic, modern, and gives that clean high end look without feeling overdone.One thing I really liked is that this is designed to work with the Delta R10000 valve system, which is nice because that is usually what we use on our houses anyway. It makes upgrading without tearing everything apart so much easier.It came with everything we needed except for the valve and cartridge, which we already had, so that was not an issue for us.
