We are remodeling our guest house bathroom and I wanted to have a rain shower head.This Delta 14 series gold rain shower head and handle looked very appealing. They are the trim set only; no valve/cartridge are included, so we got that separately.Thankfully my husband has done several bathroom projects over the years and he was able to install everything without too much difficulty. He said the instructions were adequate, but like many plumbing items, they assume you have some prior plumbing knowledge. He said for DIYers there are YouTube videos available about installing bathroom fixtures.After he installed the fixtures, there were no drips and everything worked well. The rain shower head was very nice, gentle and soothing.Because the area of the shower head is larger, the individual drops are coming out less forcefully compared to a traditional smaller head, so you shouldn't expect a forceful blast. Of course, that is part of the appeal of the rain shower head, to imagine you are taking a shower in the rain forest, right?I really like the way it looks and often wish I had put this in the master bedroom. But at least my guests will have a lovely bathroom to use when they visit. Uh oh, I just realized--if everything is too beautiful, are they going to stay longer? I should have thought this through, ha.
