This fixture has a modern look and it's going to blend in nicely in my dining room with my natural finished table. You get two long center poles and two short ones, allowing you multiple choices for selecting your desired height. Everything you need is included in the box as well as a pair of white gloves to keep the smudges away. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the fixture actually holds five bulbs. I didn't look at the images closely enough when ordering and thought it only held one. I'm planning to go with LED bulbs to offer more brightness without generating the excess heat. I haven't installed it yet but I've studied the instructions and pieces and it looks relatively easy. Although it's lightweight, it's still a two person job. Someone will need to hold it while I do the wiring, unless I perform a workaround. My workaround involves cutting the wires near the bulb assembly and installing a plug and receptacle. This would allow me to install the pole without supporting the weight of the fixture. Why can't manufacturers think of this? I'm looking forward to getting it completed so I can retire my old fixture which dates back to the 90s.

This chandelier is great. I just installed it into an apartment I am rehabbing. Very classy and I will post a picture but the cellophane is still on the fixture to protect it from dust.

This is a very large 35-inch hand-woven white rattan chandelier for a diamond. It’s oblong in shape and made of woven cotton.The metallic portion of this light is made of long-lasting, heavy-gauge iron hardware with a gold finish. It’s a handwoven pendant light for a dining room, kitchen islands, or restaurant bars. It’s almost a yard wide at about 8 inches deep. It’s a very elegant light with four layers of dance, dense, cotton-wicker-weave, rectangular-silhouette tiers. It uses five E26 standard sockets with bulbs not exceeding 40 W each. This amount of lighting power offers very good value for the money.As most of you know a LED light of 9 W generates the same amount of light as a old style hundred watt lightbulb that was of the incandescent variety therefore although you could put 540 W incandescent lightbulbs in this fixture if you put 540 W LED lightbulbs in this fixture, you would have an extremely bright white that would have the same amount of light generated as a outdoor security light for a parking lot probably too much for the dining roomIf I were installing in the dining room, I would get either five 9 W lights or five 18 W lights and a dim switch. Whatever type of lights you get, you should definitely have this beautiful fixture on a dimmer switch so you can dim the light for more romantic moments or to emulate candlelight.This fixture comes with an installation plate that hangs from the ceiling installation plate. It’s a really heavy fixture, almost 8 pounds. Therefore, I would make certain that the US standard junction box that you’re connecting it to in the ceiling is well secured into a joist.. If not, I would use additional metal brackets and additional screws to secure it more tightly so that it will support the 8 to 10 pounds of this fixture. If you’re going to do this installation yourself, I always have several caveats for people who want to.First, make absolutely certain that you have turned off the power at the circuit breaker panel box level.The best way to locate the correct circuit breaker is once you’ve locate the circuit breaker panel box have a friend standby the junction box you’re going to begin work on with the old fixture still in place and turned on and your friend can talk to you on a cell phone while you go and turn the circuit breakers on and off until you get the one that affects that particular junction box, your friend will inform you that you found the right circuit breaker you can flash it three or four times just to make certain you didn’t in fact, find the right breakerThen, of course, turn that circuit breaker off because this is electrical work. Most fixture manufacturers use 28-gauge multi-strand copper wire to power the fixture. The correct way to use wire locked nuts take the two black wires one from the house service side, and the black wire from the fixture make certain you removed the last half centimeter insulation and put the tips adjacent to one another and pointing in the same direction cover both tips with a wire lock nut and turn that lock nut clockwise until a firm, mechanical and electrical connection has been established. Do the same with the white wire and the green wire, which is probably connected to a bare copper wire from the fixture.Fourth, please exercise extreme care with this fixture's weight. Once it is safe to touch the junction box, pull it with one arm and hold the fixture with the other, so you and your mind are certain the junction box will not wiggle or come out of the ceiling under the fixture's weight. Be sure it is secure with any number of metal brackets and additional long screws going into joists.This is a beautiful picture that enhances your darling kitchen island area, and commercially, a restaurant or bar area as well. It may go well over a home bar, too.

My favorite feature of this rattan chandelier is the hidden wire inside the downrod. No unsightly loose wires, clean minimalist look that matches my boho farmhouse dining space perfectly.
