I got the DFJL Black Farmhouse Chandelier to update my dining area with something that blended rustic farmhouse style and a bit of elegance. I wanted a fixture that would make a statement without overpowering the room, and this chandelier struck that balance beautifully.The first thing that impressed me was the combination of the matte black farmhouse frame and the crystal accents. When I saw the listing photos for this chandelier, I knew I had to order it because it perfectly fit the design and look I was going for in my living room. I am in the middle of remodeling my entire house. And I have been going with more modern looking light fixtures and hardware pieces throughout my house. So, instead of choosing polished metal hardware with traditional colors, I have been going with a more modern look with a black matte finish and also straight, clean lines. But I am not completely remodeling and replacing everything in my house. So, I still have many furniture and decorative pieces that have a traditional, vintage look to them. And that’s exactly the case in my living room, which is the reason I chose this light fixture. It still has a modern look to it with its metal hardware having a black metal finish and straight, clean lines as well as with the sleek vertical crystal pieces. So, the fixture matches many of the new pieces I have installed throughout the house. And by using a single strand of crystal ball prisms, it has a vintage charm to it and ties in really well with my existing furniture and decorative pieces in the living room. So, even though it looks predominantly modern with the black matte finish and the straight-line design, the minimalist crystal balls give it a touch of that classic, vintage charm.The light arrived in extremely professional packaging. The entire fixture came in large styrofoam protection, which I attached a photo to this review. And every single crystal piece was further wrapped in styrofoam wrapping. There were several individual crystal pieces, but it wasn’t too overwhelming. I have bought chandeliers that were smaller than this one that had a lot more crystal pieces. And it came with clear numbered instructions that walked you through the process step-by-step. So, it wasn’t a simple light fixture where you could just open the box and hang it up, but it wasn't complicated and well worth the little extra time it took to hang each crystal piece.The light has four E12 sockets, which has several advantages. First, since it takes 4 bulbs, you can choose higher watt/lumen bulbs if you are hanging the chandelier in an area that you need bright lighting, like in your front foyer. You can also choose less bright bulbs or the light is capable of being dimmed if you have a dimmer switch for it. And even though the crystals almost fully hide the bulbs, especially when it is on and there is a light reflection, I still like the fact that it uses E12 base bulbs because you have the option to use candelabra style bulbs. Because their size resembles a candle flame, in my opinion, they look much better than any style E26 bulbs, even the bigger E26 candelabra bulbs.Even though my expectations were already high based on the listing photos, this chandelier surpassed them. It’s not the largest chandelier at about 16 inches wide, but after I got it all set up, it had a grand visual impact. At least for me, I know I bought a beautiful fixture when I can’t help but to stare at it. The chandelier really does have that kind of presence to it. It is very much worth its list price of $110 and I feel so lucky that I was given the opportunity to review it.

Very pretty and sturdy chandelier. I used this in my entryway. It does take the smaller bulbs so I ordered the edison style ones to accentuate the "rustic" nature of the chandelier. It uses 4. It is quite pretty to be just a farmhouse style. I recieved lots of compliments on it. It is a taller chandelier at around 80". The frame is about 2-2.5ft. It was easy to put together. It also was time consuming. Make sure during installation that you follow the directions to put the wire through the mount before you wire it together. I used the chain very shortly but it comes quite long with extensions and can be used for vaulted ceilings or for regular lower lighting. It is quite bright. It comes with gloves for the glass. A few had discrepancies but nothing worth not using them. A great value for the price. Had extra glass if damaged. Was straightforward to install. Good quality materials. Be mindful when putting them together like the hooks and the cords/ bolts. The style looks really nice. Overall I am very pleased with the price and value of the product. I absolutely would recommend! The gloves are also a great addition for the glass installation. Medium weight chandelier.

Absolutely beautiful! The mix of the rustic black finish with the crystal accents creates a gorgeous focal point in our entryway. It looks much more expensive than it was.
