I got these 6awg CCA wires to use in my SUV. For CCA, they are good, heavy-duty wire cables. They seem to be well made and up to spec for 6awg. I measured the length, and they come in at exactly 5ft as promised by the product listing.If you are not familiar with wire types, it is important to remember that these are copper-clad aluminum, or CCA, wires. That means they have a copper jacket over an aluminum core. Therefore, they are cheaper, but the trade-off is that they can't handle as many amps as pure copper wire can. So for 6awg CCA wire, I wouldn't subject it to more than an 8awg equivelent load. CCA is fine for short wire runs, such as in a vehicle; however, on longer runs, you're going to experience more voltage drop than you would with pure copper. Those are just some important things to keep in mind when deciding on the product to purchase.These wires are well-made. They have nice insulation, which is fairly easy to strip off cleanly. The inner conductors are larger than an 8awg CCA wire I have, so it does appear to meet 6awg standards. The wires are pretty flexible and easy to work with.Overall, these 6awg CCA wires are a good buy for automotive applications where you have a medium-draw current and short wire runs
