Very nice quality, sturdy construction.. easy installation. I have a smaller wooden chest that maybe is meant to sit somewhere and not move but that’s not my life. Every time I needed to move it, I had to bear hug it due to its weight when it’s full of stuff (usually photo albums etc).. so I needed an immediate solution and this worked great. They have two options for installation: the handle laying down or sticking up/out a little. I chose the latter for quicker acquisition and I don’t worry about running into the raised handle (like I might for a hope chest for example) because the ornate decorations make the lid and feet stick out too which means your special awareness will give you the extra room.

This set of 2 handles comes with hardware.The handles have a very simple, industrial look. They look to be well made using quality materials. The metal is thick and they feel very durable.The ring of the handle swivels, so it hangs flat when not in use.I have used these handles on a crude DIY chest that I use for storage. They are plenty big enough to get a good grip onto and are strong enough to manage the weight of the storage chest.These are versatile handles that would suit a wide range of different applications. The simple style of them lends well to almost any use, visually and functionally.For the quality and durability of these handles, I think the price is fair. I am very pleased with these and expect they will serve well on my storage chest for many, many years.

These are good quality, heavy duty metal handles that feel very solid once installed. Great value due the money. The metal is thick and sturdy, the black finish looks good, and the handles move smoothly while still feeling substantial enough for heavier applications.Installation is simple, and the mounting holes are clean and evenly spaced. The included screws are also a nice touch, so everything needed for a basic installation is right there.I especially like the folding design. These are just what I needed for a jack stand I built for my boat trailer.I made a plywood box to rest the tongue of my boat trailer on. I launch my boat into salt water and have a problem at low time where I have to back the trailer into the salt water far enough that the wheel jack often is immersed, rusts, and i have to replace it every couple years. I finally bought a removable wheel jack but didn't want a neer'-do-well to remove it while the trailer was unattended so I jack the trailer up high and place my box under it and then remove the wheel jack and lock it up in a shed. But the box is awkward to maneuver to just the right spot under the trailer. I got these handles and screwed them onto the plywood box and now it is really easy to carry it to and from the trailer and drag it to just the right spot. They will last longer than the boat.

I built a "portable" wooden frame for my wife's outdoor hanging egg chair. But it is heavy. These handles have made moving it much easier.The handles are large enough to comfortably grab, they are strong enough to trust with heavy weight, and they look nice. They seem to be reasonably priced compared to other similar handles. The mounting plate is about 3.5" wide, so they fit perfectly on 4x4" posts.They came with screws, but I opted for longer deck screws since the included ones are fairly short. The black finish seems durable and rust resistant, but time will tell. So far they are doing great.I like these handles and feel that they are a good value. They worked well for my application.
