I really like the more commercial style of this door handle. It looks and feels like something that belongs on a frequently used exterior or entrance door rather than a lightweight interior handle. Nothing about it gives me that thin, hollow feeling that some cheaper door handles have. I ordered this handle to replace an exterior door knob and was happy to see how nice this satin finish looks and is so much easier to use than the round door knob we had had for years . The door know was something we got always had, but now these levers have made entry so much better. I have been able to open the door lever with my hands full: using an elbow or part of my arm. With a regular door knob, if I was carrying something in both hands, I would have to set something down and have a hand free to turn the knob.Following included directions in the package and the video on this listing, installation was easy.We have not had a zinc alloy door set up before and are interested to see how this does over time. Previous door knobs have corroded as we are near the ocean salt water. Looking forward to having this for a while for my relaxed use.

Here on the ranch, we have one door to our garage that literally gets used a hundred times a day, maybe more. We've gone through door knobs like water, and the typical round ones force you to have a hand available to turn them, and oftentimes we don't have a hand available, so we have to set whatever we're carrying down, then open the door, and then pick up whatever we sat down. That gets old really fast.When I saw this commercial heavy duty door handle assembly, I immediately thought "that's the ticket". It's not only heavy duty, but you can use your arm, elbow, or even your knee to open it. And, it locks, which is always a nice feature for an external door.I'm hoping this lasts a good long time, and from looking at how it's built, I don't think it will disappoint. Highly recommend.
