I got this for my dining room, and I absolutely LOVE it.It’s one of those light fixtures that immediately makes the entire room look more expensive. Before this, we had a dining room. Now we have a formal dining establishment that requires reservations. The gold finish and crystal-style pieces are beautiful when the light is on, and I love that there’s a ceiling fan hidden in the middle. Whoever decided chandeliers should also circulate air deserves some recognition because I’m officially done choosing between pretty and practical. It also has a remote and multiple fan speeds, so I can adjust everything without getting up from the table. As nature intended. My only problem now is that the chandelier looks so fancy that the rest of us need to step it up.You can’t sit underneath this thing eating leftover pizza directly out of the box.Well... you can.But now it feels like the pizza should at least be served on the good plates.

33 rectangular bars of textured acrylic "crystals" surround the fan of this fixture. Each measuring 1 5/8" across by 6 1/8" down and 3/8" thick. They remind me of ice.The mounting holes for each is drilled 2 5/8" from one end 3 3/8 from the other. The holder they go on creates the illusion of various sizes as the pegs are situated lower and higher around the fan. This is quite an interesting fixture to look at and watch as the light reflects through the acrylic "ice" shade diffusing and creating a unique light/shadow pattern around the room. The instructions do not go into this. However, it is very important. Please follow the basic North American Safety standard of utilizing a junction box at the point of the electrical wires meeting. I can't stress this enough. While some of the fixtures I have gotten through Vine have shown this others simply do not. They talk about mounting to wood or concrete with no mention of a junction box. This is when I remove 1/2 star. I just feel it is so important to make sure to show that junction box in the black line drawings or mention it. One or the other. It could make a difference of a house burning down or not. no joke.Performance, noise and airflow test:The fixture performed exactly as expected. The remote controls all the features. If the power goes out when the fan and light are on, only the light comes back on at the dim setting when power is restored. If you are sleeping with the fan on and the light off, power goes out in the middle of the night... when the power is restored the fan does NOT resume. The light does however and there is a beep. This is how these new control boxes work. Jury is still out on those. For now, they do seem to be stable and offer some features that avoid installing additional wiring to be able to control - in particular the fan speed and summer/winter mode.Noise - normal for a fan. No motor noise per se. Just normal air noise.Airflow is as expected for a 12" fan. It works and moves air adequately. This is an interesting fixture that is perfect for bedrooms, kitchens and family rooms.while not complicated I would give this a rating of a 2 when it comes to installation as there is some assembly time you should put aside. 1 being easy peasy... 5 being "OOPS! Call the Electrician!"

Very pretty light fixture. It looks very high end and then the fan is the cherry on the sundae. It will really move the air and has a remote. The price is fair and the fan is really nice

I really like my new fandelier ceiling fan. It was so easy to install in just about 15 minutes. I have it in our bedroom and it looks great. Just to look at it, you would think it was simply a nice looking chandelier. But then you notice the 20” fan! it uses 4 regular bulbs. I have warm white LED bulbs in mine and it looks perfect. The fan has 6 speeds and it is easy to operate with the remote. It is made vey well and I am happy with how it looks and works. It really is a good value since you get a great looking light and ceiling fan built together.
