super heavy duty
[Size: 3mm 4PCS]
Well.. . I used these a little different than they were intended, I build a gate to keep the grandkid from heading up stairs and they worked perfectly. Easy enough to to lift the gate up and out when not needed.

These things are thicker and better than anticipated. Happier than I thought I would be. A slight blemish on one of them for the powder coat but it's minor. And for the cost Im not worried about it.

I got this 4-pack brackets to secure a gate in an obscure part of my fence. They are solid, thick heavy duty carbon steel with a clean black coating. No flexing or rough edges.A standard 2x4 slides in and out snug but not jammed. It comes with all the necessary heavy duty screws. Installs easily.Getting four brackets is a great deal, allowing for a top and bottom setup or on two different doors.Simple, unhackable physical security. Pair these with a strong piece of lumber, and that door isn't budging.

This barricade bracket seems well built and sturdy. However, one issue is they are actually a bit wider than a 2x4. One product photo shows they are 1 1/2 while another shows they are 2.1". They are somewhere in-between. I feel that they should be at least somewhat snug once a 2x4 is inserted. I do like the holes in outside of the bracket, so you could actually insert the 2x4 and then screw the outside of the bracket to it for extra security. These should work fine for most people, and installation is as easy as screwing or bolting the bracket to the wall, but keep in mind there will be some slack in the 2x4.
