Boho Floor Lamp for Living Room with Smart RGB Bulb

I had been wanting for a lamp for my living room for a while now as I do not have an overhead light. This one was a great choice. I appreciate the slim profile. You can fit it just about anywhere and it fits into most decor.The lamp was very easy to put together. You just screw the stand together. The RGB light is a nice touch and fun. You can also choose from multiple white light colors and brightnesses, and it has a night light setting as well as a 30-minute timer. I probably spent way too much time just playing with the settings 🤣The lamp is very lightweight and could probably be knocked over if I didn't have it near a wall. But who's putting lamps in the middle of the floor anyway? As a lamp, it's not putting out the same amount of light and overhead light wood, but it works for my purposes. I don't want a very bright light in my living room anyway. (If you got two, it might be a different story. But I only got one.)Overall, this is a fun, easy to assemble lamp at a reasonable price point.

I have a corner. It is dark. A lamp was needed. I saw this. Can I mood light now? Yes. Can I set it to rotate through colors? Yes I can.Its pretty cool. I wish the bulb were a little brighter though. The bulb does all the work. Not sure what I will do when it dies.The remote controlls the bulb. Its nice and responsive. It will do, not only colors, but light temperature changes. Like a white light or a more natural light? It will adjust.The lamp stand itself is nothing to write home about. Its a hollow metal tube with a power cord in it.The shade portion is kind of weak and if it were to fall over might break apart. Not a fan of this.It does what it says. It could be cheaper. Its not a great value.If its bulb dies you will need to find another smart color change bulb to keep its features.I do recommend it.It does what I want it to.

Literally plug-in play comes with the bulb the remote has different colors and RGB settings. Love this little lamp. It’s a great value.

This floor lamp by FRIDEKO HOME was a perfect light that I ordered for a corner that needed some light. A a big statement floor lamp would not work for that area. This lamp puts out just the right amount of light to read, or you can soften it for a relaxing mode. It has a sturdy black metal base and post. It's topped off with a slender "Boho" lampshade that is macrame and looks fabulous with the rest of the room.The fun part about this light is that the kids and their Mama love to play music and dance. About once a month, they have a Karaoke Night. They LOVE that this light will match the beat and playfully change colors with it. It's like their own party. It's nice to bring them so much joy. Having the app to control everything the light does from your phone is so convenient and shows you many different ways you can use it. If you are upstairs and someone is outside, you can turn the light on so they know someone is home. You can even program it to turn on and off randomly at different times on different nights. It's just a little back up security for you wrapped up in all its fun and practical ways to use it. It's also super easy to assemble and get the app on your phone.

This lamp is quite sturdy for being something that screws together, the post is thick enough that it doesn't end up swaying or bowing at all. The lamp shade is nice, it's a jute rope like shade with a white diffusing center. I love that it comes with a smart bulb already but the lamp itself has a push button on off switch on the cord for controlling it manually, as well as the remote that comes automatically paired to the lamp. It's pretty cool that you can change the light settings like the tone, color, brightness, all from the remote without having to use the app. The lamp doesn't take up much space at all but it does give a nice glow to a large room when it's on a white light. The colored light, while bright, isn't great for reading. I have used this light every evening in my living room to help counteract the brightness of the TV with the dark room and I love it. I love that for a movie night or something special, I can change the light to fit what we are watching.

Frideko Is a really solid brand for the new generation of lamps and lighting. Like a lot of their other products, this floor lamp features essentially an endless amount of colors that you can choose to use. This can be very handy if you are zooming with someone and want flattering lighting, like red, to make you look more human. It also allows you to set the mood in any room. But the white is bright enough if you want to read by it, for example. And I love the remote control, basically because once I settle into my special couch seat, I don't want to get up off of my butt up for anything, including turning off the lamp. The special feature on this lamp that sets it apart from similar products is that you can sync the lights to music, and it actually works. It's fun. For example, the grandkids and I had an impromptu disco party courtesy of this lamp and they absolutely loved it. This feature also means it would make a great gift for a teenager who wants special lighting in their bedroom to listen to music to. Like all Frideko products, it's a well-made, quality item.

Simple, elegant, and easy. For the price, I’m impressed.Standing lights can be difficult because often times you’re dealing with a base that isn’t heavy enough, or a vertical pole that doesn’t sit perfectly straight, but in this case, Frideko seems to have covered all the bases. And this design does not take up a lot of space.Affordable: It’s affordably priced in my opinion, it stands straight, without much room for becoming unstable or off kilter. This is the most important feature to look out for, especially for a design that relies 100% on its vertical nature.Materials & Durability: The materials are higher quality – I was most nervous about the "paper" inlay that softens the bulb and how it’s constructed but take it from someone who is picky about these things, this feels quite durable and leaves me worry free in this department.Lighting: The bulb that is included is just fine – it allows you to adjust the brightness so bear in mind that if it feels dim, it can likely go brighter because it does not turn on full brightness directly out of the box. And there are a number of modes to select from for warm and cool lighting, and various RGB colors that you find from standard bulbs of this type. That said, better smart bulbs exist, but for what is included in this price point, this is a solid option that should last a while.Control: The bulb does require a remote or their app, so my preference is to use a different bulb with one of the smart home apps I already use. The fact that you have that option and they DON’T lock you into a weird size (like candelabra bulbs) or something that is built-in / permanently fixed without the ability to replace or repair... that’s a definite plus.The only area I could potentially say could be improved is the height. It’s fixed and there is zero option for adjusting the overall height and positioning of the shade. I won’t take away stars for this as it’s more of a feature request. If you could adjust the height, that would really make this a perfect product in my opinion.
