Fixed the most annoying problem!Fixed the most annoying problem!

[Size: 5in x 132in, Size: 5in x 132in]
I have a little boy who loves to push his cars around and it’s so annoying, really it’s a daily thing, to collect his cars from under the couches. This fixed his relentless “mama, help please” pleas! Looks perfectly fine, very stretchy to pull it tight, should hold up no problem. It was a little too wide (tall) for the height under my couch but I was able to tuck it without issue. It might actually be better that way because I can’t see a gap between the couch and the blocker.

Great Idea, But Didn’t Work Well With My Low Couch

[Size: 5in x 132in]
I really like the idea behind this couch blocker. I was hoping to use it to keep my cat’s toys from constantly disappearing under the couch and also prevent my robot vacuum from getting stuck underneath. Unfortunately, it didn’t end up working great for my particular couch. My couch sits fairly low, so the blocker didn’t hold very well around the legs. The 132-inch length was too long to just wrap around the front legs, but not quite long enough to go around three sides of my couch. I think having a few different length options would make this much more useful for different couch sizes and layouts. That said, it was easy to put together and install, and I like that it doesn’t seem like it would damage or permanently alter your furniture. The concept is great, and I think it could work really well on the right couch—it just wasn’t the right fit for mine.

Game changer with little kids

[Size: 5in x 132in]
I did not expect an elastic band with Velcro to be such a life changing product but this is probably the best parent hack I’ve ever had! Once a month we do a deep floor clean in our house where we move the couches in the living room (which doubles as a playroom) and the amount of toys and crumbs that pile up in just a few weeks is terrifying. I figured this was worth a try because it seemed simple and affordable and I feel like an idiot for not knowing these existed sooner! This band wraps around the front legs of the couch and creates a barrier between the bottom of the couch and the floor, preventing anything from sliding or rolling under the couch. While I do find myself sweeping the area in front of the couch more often (because the crumbs have nowhere to hide!) it allows virtually nothing to get lost under the couch! No more missing small pieces of toys, no more lost snacks rotting away in the dark, no more balls or dice disappearing and interrupting play time. My floors are saved by not having to slide the couch around every time I notice a mess underneath. Everyone with little kids or pets should know about this product! I should also add that it’s adjustable so it can fit a variety of furniture without having to measure!

Works great for keeping toys from disappearing under the couch!

[Size: 3in x 132in]
With a busy toddler in the house, it seems like every time we move the furniture to clean, we find an entire collection of toys that have somehow made their way underneath the couch. My little one is constantly spotting a favorite ball, car, or toy under there and trying to reach underneath, which usually ends with me getting down on my hands and knees to retrieve it.We decided to try this under-couch blocker to put an end to the constant toy rescue missions, and so far, it has worked really well. The strap system seems to be designed for sofas with taller, exposed legs. Our couch sits fairly low to the ground with short feet, so I had to get a little creative with installation. Since the standard Velcro method wasn't going to work for us, I secured it to the lower wooden frame of the couch instead. Once installed, it fit nicely across the front of our oversized sofa. The mesh feels thick and sturdy, and it has enough flexibility to handle toys being pushed or tossed against it without sagging. You can see the black mesh along the bottom of our brown couch, but honestly, that's a small trade-off for not having to constantly crawl underneath the furniture searching for toys. The biggest thing is that it actually works. Since putting it up, we've had a much easier time keeping toys from disappearing underneath the couch, and my toddler can't reach under there nearly as easily. Now I'm thinking about getting another one for the loveseat.Overall, it's a simple but really useful solution for a house with little ones. If your couch sits low like ours, you may need to improvise a bit with the installation, but once it's secured, it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Definitely recommend!

Work perfectly with a little creativity

[Size: 5in x 132in]
We have rowdy dogs, and every single time we move the furniture to clean, it never fails—there’s a whole graveyard of dog toys trapped underneath. Our Lab will constantly spot a lost ball or chew toy under the sofa, trying to paw at it and whining until I get down on my hands and knees to fish it out for her. This under-couch blocker was brought in to put an end to that routine once and for all.The strap system is clearly designed to wrap around sofas with tall, exposed legs. Our couch sits much closer to the ground with short feet, but with a little ingenuity, we got it mounted cleanly. Our sofa is oversized, and this strap had plenty of stretch to wrap around the front and catch both corners. Since I couldn't use the standard leg-wrap Velcro method, I anchored it right to the lower wooden framing using those small twist pins meant for slipcovers. The mesh material is thick, durable, and has just the right amount of tension so it won't tear or sag when a toy bounces against it. It does create a visible black barrier across the bottom of our brown couch, but in a home with dogs, anyone who visits completely gets it. Most importantly, it flat-out works—not a single ball or toy has disappeared under that couch since putting it up, and now I just need to grab another one for the loveseat. At the end of the day, the material is strong, the stretch accommodates even extra-long furniture, and it completely solves the problem of lost toys. You might have to get a little creative with the mounting if your couch sits low, but it does its job 100% and I easily recommend it.

Brilliant, brilliantly simple

[Size: 5in x 132in]
This is brilliant. Now that I've seen the concept, I wonder why I haven't done anything like this before, just using other materials, or even just wood.We have grand- and god-children dropping things on the floor constantly -- pencils and markers, game pieces, toy animals, and so on -- and every so often we have to move the couch to clear out all the stuff that's collected underneath. We may never have to do that again, except to deal with dust. And I won't be surprised if this cuts down on that as well.Installing this is simplicity itself. It just has Velcro on the ends, so you stretch it around the couch legs and fasten. Be sure to pull it tight (it stretches), to keep it from sagging. It will adjust to a wide variety of lengths. If it were a little longer, I would have wrapped it around the sides, too.Seriously, why didn't I ever think of this?

So happy with this.So happy with this.

[Size: 5in x 132in, Size: 5in x 132in]
My cat has an automated mouse toy that rolls across the floor at random intervals. I’ve had to lift my couch more times than I can count to get it back. This is such a life saver. Can’t recommend it enough.

Such a win for toy blocking!

[Size: 5in x 132in]
We got this because our dogs have a serious talent for sending their toys underneath the couch, where they apparently enter another dimension. We have a deep three seater couch, and this was long enough to wrap around the entire long side, which is roughly 96 inches for us. It attaches around the couch feet with Velcro, and even though our couch has really wide, chunky feet, the straps were easy to get around them and secure. The Velcro is actually surprisingly strong. I was initially a little nervous about what would happen if one of the straps suddenly came undone because I have visions of it snapping around and terrifying one of the dogs, but so far it has stayed put. We’ve already had several toys end up right against the blocker instead of disappearing underneath the couch, so it’s definitely doing its job.Our floors are a dark wood color, so the black blocker actually blends in pretty well. From above, it doesn’t really stand out as a giant black strip under the couch. The only issue we’ve had is that one section has started bunching or sagging down around one of the legs, so it isn’t perfectly even from one side to the other. It still sits close enough to the floor to block things, though, so functionally it hasn’t been a problem. Overall, it’s a simple solution that has already saved us from having to fish toys out from under the couch constantly.
