I needed to replace the handles on two of my storm doors—one was completely broken, and the other was worn out and an eyesore. Good quality, but two caveats. I agree with previous comments that breaking the spindle to the required length is not as easy as it seems in the instructions. I wound up using a hacksaw. More importantly, they give you screws of different lengths (which is important) but some of the screws of the same length are of different thicknesses. Make sure you have the right screws that feed into both the top and the bottom of the handle. Mine were of different thicknesses. Drove me nuts for a bit

I have needed to replace the handles and locks on the storm doors on my front and back doors for the longest time. I have a difficult time fully closing and locking both storm doors. But for the front door, it has gotten to the point where I have to pull so hard on the handle and keep jamming it in until I finally hear the locking click sound. So, after I saw this two-pack of door handles, I first measured the dimensions of my door handles and locking latches to make sure they were the correct fit. And after I found out that they were pretty much an exact match, I went ahead and ordered them.When the handles arrived, I really liked the quality and how the metal parts felt in my hands. These are definitely not cheaply made metal handles. I then held them against both doors to make sure the screw openings and latches lined up. And everything was a perfect match. The set comes with instructions, but since I have installed so many door handles and knobs over the years, I didn’t even need to read them. And it was great that I didn’t need to drill any new holes because both storm doors are old and I did not want to drill into them.And most importantly, they worked perfectly. The outside buttons pushed in smoothly and the inside handles moved the latches without once ever getting stuck. And I only needed to pull it normally for the latch to catch and make the locking click sound. I am extremely happy that I was able to fix the handles on both doors with one set. And because of the quality, the price is fair at $30 for the two handles, which come with everything you need for installation.

4 stars only because the quality isn't quite 5-star - don't get me wrong, these work, came with all the parts, and do their job, just not as high quality as the original on the door and some of the other replacements you can get.If you are retrofitting this onto an existing door as I was, verify your door hole measurements before ordering. I ended up doing some handy dandy fixing to make it work for me, but it works after installing, so that is good.The one part of installation that was not easy was shortening the do-dad bar that goes through the door. The instructions show using two pairs of pliers to break it... not that simple. This required a lot of force and work to get this to the proper length. The rest of the install was fairly straightforward, just juggling the parts and trying not to drop things.Because I already had a drilled door, I had to adjust the latch quite far off the wall to align it properly, but using the parts they provided, I was able to get it to latch.The look is fairly plain and simple. Not a high-dollar item, and it fits that bill - cheap, simple, works with some adjustment.

Sturdy and solid metal as described. Rod for depressing mechanism is poorly scored and did not break off easily. Had to cut with hacksaw. Screws are VERY soft. Heads strip out if there is ANY resistance when tightening.
