[Set name: forMilwaukee forM12 forM18 battery]
Wired into a 400 v solar system w/ two batteries. Charged a dead Milwaukee 6amp battery in less than an hour. This is some freedom! Pairing it with the usb charger for milwaukee batteries, and the inverter for milwaukee batteries, and the whole tool set becomes way more useful.

Very useful

So I use both the standard Dewalt 20V max batteries as well as the small 12V ones for all my DeWalt tools. I wanted a charger that I could keep in my vehicle so I always have a way to recharge batteries when I'm working at a job site. This charger has been great and it charges both sizes! My vehicle has a 12V accessory outlet in the cargo area, so I keep this charger stored there so it's always ready when I need it. Whenever a battery is dead or running low, I can plug the charger in and top it off while driving between jobs so that I show up ready to go. Plus I can always just pop a battery in the car charger while working. The charger is compact and appears to be well made. It's very light weight. Charging performance seems decent, and it ahs the usual LED light indicators just like my original Dewalt wall outlet chargers do.Really my only complaint is the price. It works well, but I think its a little expensive considering it's not original Dewalt. Even so, the convenience of being able to charge batteries from my vehicle makes it a worthwhile purchase for me. Lastly, yes I know I can use a 12v power inverter and just plug in my regular 120v charger, but I specifically don't want that because they always end up getting moved out of my car. With this one, it just stay right where I want it because there is no place else I'm going to plug this in other than my car.

BAT20TL: Compact 2 Amp Battery Charger for BAUER 20V Lithium-Ion Power Tool BatteriesThis product is a compact, lightweight, battery-top charger for use in charging BAUER 20V Lithium-Ion power tool batteries. This compact charger is capable of a 2-Amp output during the charging process. The charger is powered using 110VAC power supplied through the attached power cord. The status of the charging process is conveyed to the user with a two-color (Red & Green) LED display built into the top of the charger. This compact battery charger employs an “Intelligent Protection Chip” in its design to protect both the battery and the battery charger from harm and potential damage. The protections include:• Over-Charge Protection• Over-Current Protection• Over-Heating Protection• Short-Circuit ProtectionI have tested this product by charging several BAUER 20V lithium-ion batteries (4Ah, 5Ah, and 6Ah batteries) and no problems were encountered. Excess heat was not generated by either the battery being charged nor the battery charger itself. The charger only has an output of 2 Amps, so it is not terribly fast to charge a discharged battery. That said, the slow charge rate does not stress the battery being charged and will actually increase the lifespan of the batteries that are charged. This product is very small, compact, and quite lightweight. It is convenient to use as it does not take up very much space and works quite well. I am happy with this product.SPECIAL NOTE: This product’s Amazon page states, “Equipped with cooling fan”. This is incorrect. This charger does not have a built-in cooling fan. Why would a 2 Amp charger need a cooling fan? It is not supplying enough energy to the battery during the charging process to need a cooling fan.
