I was very skeptical that this would even be functional let alone work well. Assembly was simple and straightforward. This holds a 5 gallon jug amazingly. I've had it on my counter, my dining room table, and now a designated round end table. This did not slide. At all. On any surface. I shook the tables it's been on and it didn't budge. The reason I moved it to its own small table was the spout was rather low to fill large tumblers so moving it to the edge of a table solved that problem. I expect this to last a very long time. And now for an affordable price we can have 5 gallon bottles of water.

My family won't drink tap water, as it does not taste very good where we live. So we fill up 5 gallon bottles to use at home. However, I often get irritated at the more complicated dispensers that have to be cleaned with vinegar else they fill up with all manner of unwanted growth. This is so much more simple. The bar support is very stable and feels strong after putting it together, which only took a few seconds and can be done by hand. If you get the bottle tops on tightly they won't leak, but it can be a bit difficult to do it right if you're not used to it. Best of all there are 2 tops that you can use, allowing one to dry out while the other is in use. So I like to alternate between them to avoid them getting yucky. Overall, a good option for dispensing water. 5 stars.

We usually use one of those electric pumps for these jugs, but we're enjoying this a bit more. You don't get the noise of the pump and it's easier for kids to operate. This water jug stand is light yest strong to hold a full 5 gallon water bottle. It is super easy to set up in a minute with just two plastic brackets where the two metal stand pieces simply plugs into. It comes with two high-quality polypropylene bottle caps that easily pops into the bottle spout and screws on tight. Water cap dispenses without leakage or negative pressure build up in the bottle which can slow down the water dispense. This set up is better than the rechargeable water pumps I tried in the past which needs to be charged, slow to dispense, and leaves some water left in the bottle.

I bought this for my 5 gallon water jug that I use with my coffee station, and it's been exactly what I was hoping for.
