These are nice heavy duty hooks. I like the matte black look and the shape of them compared to other hooks I’ve seen. They seem to stick well and it says the capacity is high but I’m not sure I trust these. I would not go to the max weight. In my experience 3M adhesive works to a degree but it isn’t magic and can never replace screws or nails in the wall. I like these a lot but time will tell

I guess the hook itself would hold up to that kind of weight, but I seriously doubt that the adhesive would hold.Make sure to clean the surface that you are applying these to very well. Press firmly for about 30 seconds and then let it set-up for a good 24 hrs before using. I think short term the adhesive system will be fine, with lighter objects, but over the long haul, I have my doubts. I have used 3M adhesive tapes for years. While I do like them, they can give out after awhile. I will probably end up drilling 2 holes in each of these and attach them with screws.Again, nice heavy duty hooks that look nice, I just don't have a lot of faith in the longevity of the adhesive system, as well as stressing it with 28 lbs.
