Incredible Fixed Blade, Great Value, Vosteed Is The EDC King!Incredible Fixed Blade, Great Value,...

[Color: Green Bowie, Color: Green Bowie]
I am mainly a folding knife guy but I have been carrying this nice, small sized fixed blade with regularity since I got it. The size is great for everyday tasks and still fairly concealable - wearing it on your belt either vertically or horizontally makes it virtually disappear. I have also carried inside my pocket with ease. The AEB-L blade is razor sharp and holds a keen edge. The stonewash finish is actually a nice touch not seen on most knives like this. It strops back to life in seconds as well. The G-10 handle is nicely contoured and ribbed - the two tone vibe is a nice touch as well. The kydex sheath has an awesome clip and fits the knife like a glove. The whole package is an outstanding value for the money.Like all things Vosteed, this is a quality, well build, precision piece of kit. A smaller fixed blade is great for so many daily tasks without being 'scary' to non knife people - this is NOT Crocodile Dundees knife. If you are in the market for a daily carry fixed blade that is not intrusive or too large, this might be the ticket!

Good Quality Vosteed Fixed Blade Knife! Beautifully Constructed! Super Sharp!Good Quality Vosteed...

[Color: Blue, Color: Blue]
Good Quality Vosteed Fixed Blade Knife! Beautifully Constructed! Super Sharp! I ordered this knife, as I wanted a fixed blade knife, that is more of an EDC size. At an overall length of 7 1/8”, this was a good size for me. The blade measurement is as advertised. As for the construction, this has a solid feel! The G10 handle has a good feel and grip, as well as easy to clean. I wear a medium size glove, and I can grip this with 4 fingers, and still have about a 1/3” excess on the end (see photo). There is a hole if you want to add a strap. The fixed blade is a full tang, and the handle is secured with three pins. The pins can be removed with a star bit if you want to change out the handle, although I don’t know why you’d want to change this handle. The sheath has a great design, as there are some key features. It is a solid construction, and it secures the knife well. There is an adjustable screw to increase or decrease the firmness of the hold. The belt clip is mounted for securing on the right hip. I was able to easily remove the two securing screws and flip it over to the opposite side for the left hip, within about 3 minutes. My favorite part about the sheath, is the thumb indentation that assists in a controlled release of the knife. (See photo). There are also a couple of holes in the sheath if you want to attach this to a lanyard. The blade is super sharp out of the box. The blade is tapered to a pretty thin edge, but it has held up well to light/medium use so far. I have not had to do any touch-ups on the edge, as it is still sharp. This is my first Vosteed knife, and I am impressed so far. This is quickly becoming my favorite EDC. Overall I recommend this product!

Very comfortable in hand

[Color: Black Denim Micarta]
Ok so the jury is still out, but immediately I thought, Is this my new favorite edc knife?? It sure feels like it might be. Handle fits a sizelarge hand perfectly. Lightweight. Feels very comfortable in hand. Sharp out of the box as standard. I'm excited to get to work with this blade.

Great all around use little edc blade with good steel.

[Color: Green]
Great all around use little edc blade with good steel. Handle could be a little wider/taller and scale edges dig in when gripping. Second complaint is that the sheath clip does not hold real well either for deployment. Having said that, I do like the knife and think the edges of the handle can be smoothed out with some fine sand paper. Also, the standard belt clip can be replaced with an ulti-clip for best use pocket carry.

Another fantastic edc fixed blade from Vosteed

[Color: Blue]
Great no nonsense edc fixie. Good steel, very sharp, finely ground and F&F is excellent. Very slim profile for pocket carry yet it’s a perfect useful size to replace or complement a folder.

Practical Utility Knife with Good ValuePractical Utility Knife with Good Value

[Color: Black Denim Micarta, Color: Black Denim Micarta]
This is a compact fixed blade that seems geared more toward utility work than hard outdoor use. For the price, I think it offers a solid balance of performance and practicality. The factory edge is good. It isn't hair-popping razor sharp, but it arrived with a perfectly usable working edge that handled everyday cutting tasks without requiring immediate touch-up.It's still too early for me to draw any meaningful conclusions about the AEB-L steel. Initial impressions are positive, but edge retention and toughness are things that really need time and use to evaluate. The handle is my biggest criticism. It's on the small side for my hands, and the Micarta scales don't provide as much texture as I would have liked. I could see the grip becoming less secure if my hands were wet, sweaty, or otherwise slippery. One feature I do appreciate is the thoughtful jimping. There are traction points both near the handle and farther out on the spine, allowing multiple grip positions depending on the task. Combined with the blade shape, it makes the knife feel well suited to detailed utility work, feather sticking, controlled push cuts, and other common camp or workshop tasks. The included sheath is perfectly serviceable. It doesn't feel especially premium, but it retains the knife securely and fits the overall price point well.Overall, this strikes me as the kind of knife that makes an excellent "beater." It's inexpensive enough that I won't hesitate to use and abuse it for everyday tasks, yet well made enough that I expect it to hold up just fine. If you're looking for a compact utility-focused fixed blade rather than a high-end collector's piece, this is a solid value.
