First off it does come pretty well packaged with plastic corners and tight plastic wrap and a piece of wood to keep it from getting damaged Too easily. It comes folded in half, for each plank, and when you manage to unfold it you cannot get rid of that seam. Unless you cut it at that crease but that would be silly depending on the height of where you're trying to put it because you're going to create another seam. It is very easy to damage and very soft! Everything about it! Even the vinyl or whatever surface color is an extremely thin papery material that gets a nick in it just by touching it wrong. Because of what this substance is (medium density foam in its entirety) You can't hang anything from it and even if you try to gently hang something in the decorative recessed pattern seams If you tighten that up it's going to smash the relatively lightweight foam behind it. Yeah it's good that it's self adhesive! So is peel and stick wallpaper and you get more substance out of that even though you don't get the 3D /4d physical effect (You can visually get 3D out of wallpaper though).... I left it laying out with the board on top to try to get rid of that middle seam and I mean you' literally just can't Because obviously it's a cut in the paper on top and the foam. I don't know folks! There must be places gentle enough where this would still be useful without concern about its fragilety... Maybe in the foot part of a vanity? Or.... Hmmm.... It would have very good insulator values so you could use it inside a structurally sound surface to insulate real fancy with self adhesive.... Hmmm.... I'm reaching. At the time of this review it's about $95 for two very long narrow folded in half sheets. I'm aware some of these noted limitations could be user misunderstanding...
