I bought this pop up countertop outlet bc the kitchen island needed extra plugs for the kids tablets and my mixer without running cords! The 20 amp outlet and wireless pad pop up when we need them and sit flush when we do not. I use it during homework and cooking. The kids charge devices right there. It has made the island so much more useful! Its stable easy to install and good price.

You can tell right away that this is a high-quality product. Installation was very straightforward, and it fits perfectly into a standard 2.5-inch hole with great stability once tightened down. The 12 AWG power cord is thick and heavy-duty, and the 20-Amp rating gives me peace of mind when using multiple appliances at once. It’s ETL listed, which was very important to me for safety.The overall functionality is excellent; the pop-up mechanism is smooth, and having 4 outlets along with the dedicated USB ports (including the fast-charging 65W USB-C) makes it incredibly versatile. It’s a professional-grade solution that looks great, saves a ton of space, and handles a high power load without any issues. If you need a reliable and well-built power hub, this is a fantastic choice. A bit pricey, but it will definitely last a long time.

When it works correctly, this is a really nice multi-functional power port and charging block. You get USB A and C ports, Qi/wireless charging, high power delivery, and a 20-to-15A plug adapter so it is fully able to plug into any outlet to provide power to any device. The pop-up spring is quite strong, so once you press down to disengage the lock, it has a tendancy to jump up.There are two design flaws, though: the cable in the bottom is fed through a slot in the case, and it's tight. When the cable isn't properly aligned with the pop-up travel, the pop-up doesn't want to come up, and it also can't go down when you push it when misaligned. This is especially problematic when the bottom isn't intended to be accessed and is sealed into an inaccessible location, as you need to manually "align" the top of the cable with the hole for the pop-up to operate. The second flaw is that there are ports on all 4 sides of the pop-up, meaning if you mount close to a wall, you will lose either 1 USBC port or 2 outlets and a USB-A port.When it works, this design is clean, neat, and efficient; when it doesn't work smoothly, you either have a permanently recessed wireless charging point or a popped-up power strip that won't go away.Note: always check wiring and circuit load max if you will be using high-draw devices on this extension. You potentially could be have >80A draw if you’re not careful.Note that to install, you need a hole saw 2 3/8” diameter (60mm per the manual) up to 2 3/4” to clear (without having the whole thing drop through). I think practically, 2.5” max makes the most sense as you don’t want the assembly too loose with the flanges. My door hardware hole saw is 2 1/8”, so not compatible.

It pops up flush when you press it and hides away completely when not in use, accessible from either side of the counter, which is handy if you've got people working across from each other. It's rated for 20 amps and handles blenders and coffee makers fine without tripping anything, plus the "PD 65W USB-C port" charges a laptop at a normal speed. It appears to be made of decent quality materials for something sitting in a spot that gets bumped a lot.The wireless charging pad on top works for phones that support it, one less cord cluttering the counter ⚡. Here's the catch though, at $200 this is pricier than it needs to be since you can find similar 4 outlet pop up units with USB and wireless charging for around $50. Great if convenience is worth the premium to you, but shop around first before paying full price. Works fine overall, just budget accordingly 🛒

I added this pop-up outlet to my desk because I wanted an easy place to plug in chargers and other devices without constantly reaching underneath the desk. It has worked really well for that purpose. Between the standard outlets, USB connections, and wireless charging pad, there are plenty of options for keeping multiple devices powered.I especially like being able to push the unit down when I am not using it. It helps keep the desktop looking clean and organized while still giving me quick access to power when I need it. For a desk or workspace with a lot of electronics, it is a very practical solution.My only real criticism is the size. It sticks out farther above the desk when open, and farther below it than I would ideally like. That said, considering how many outlets and charging ports are packed into the unit, I understand why it needs the extra space.Overall, I am very happy with it. It is convenient, helps reduce clutter, and gives me a lot of charging flexibility in one location. Just make sure you have enough clearance underneath your desk or countertop before installing it.

I picked up this 20 amp pop-up outlet because it looked like the perfect setup for my wireless charging phone while also giving me the option to add other connections. In my desk, there was already a hole that this fit into perfectly. The most time I spent was just making sure it was positioned straight and properly where I wanted it.Overall, it's very elegant and looks great on the surface of whatever you install it in. Since it's a 20 amp outlet, the cord that comes with it is very heavy duty. You can tell just by the thickness and gauge of it. Because it's designed for a 20 amp outlet, it comes with a 20 amp plug, which means one of the prongs is sideways. However, the manufacturer includes an adapter, so if you need to plug it into a standard 15 amp outlet, you have that option as well.This is extremely well designed and looks very nice once installed and secured. I'm very happy with it. The only thing I'll say is that it seems a bit expensive for what it is. Functionally, it's great, and if you really need a clean setup and want something like this, the price won't matter much to you. But for what it is, it's on the spendy side, definitely a luxury item. That said, its functionality does match the convenience it offers.The overall unit feels extremely high quality, so it's not like you're spending a lot of money and getting something that feels cheap. This is a design winner. Easy installation if you have an existing hole, otherwise you will need to cut your own. Cutting the hole in granite or similar countertop may be a little difficult. You will need a power outlet or a junction box underneath your countertop as well as considerable room underneath for the pop up mechanism. While it say you need 8.6 inches of clearance for the unit and cord from top of the counter, the unit itself is 8.4 inches and the cord slides up and down through a small hole. Since this is a heavy 12AWG cord suitable for its heavy duty 20A outlets, this also means the cord needs some additional clearance directly below that space for it to hang straight, if the cord is pulled off to the side, it will bind up and restrict the pop up slide function. The hole size is 2-1/2 inches, not all of these pop up outlets are the same size, so not a universal design.ETL listed for safety. 15W wireless charge for your phone or earbud case. The wireless charge is not a MagSafe or magnetic charger, just a standard Qi charger.Just a note on the 20A outlet rating, most newer household wiring for outlets in the USA is rated for 20A, and have 20A breakers installed, with only 15A outlets, some houses will have the 20A outlets if the inspector or builder requires them, most standard household appliances are 15A or less with a few using the 20A plug and rating. Functionally, there is little difference between the 20A and 15A plugs beyond the one prong is turned sideways. Most 20A plugs are dual function capable of both 15A and 20A cords as is the case of this pop up outlet. So while professionally, if you have an existing 15A outlet, you should swap out out for a 20A, practically speaking, your existing 15A outlet is probably fine. I have seen cases of outlets overheating and sparking, but that’s usually a result of a well used outlet with poor contact with the plug. If your outlet struggles to hold a cord straight, that’s a sign it needs replacing. The included 15A to 20A adapter is not a UL or ETL listed item (or CSA for our Canadian friends), but as long as you don’t overload the power outlet, you should be fine with using this off a 15A outlet. If you know you are planning to use a 20A appliance, I recommend you swap your existing outlet.Love all the functionality features, multiple outlets, 65W USB-C, 3.0A USB-A.The price is a little high IMO, but in line with others, so par for the course, but the multi-function is a real winner.
