I am a bit of a tool collector. I don’t currently have a need for this tool, but I know well enough that having the right tool for a job makes a big difference. There have been projects in the past where this would have been very beneficial. I am sure there will be more projects in the future where I am glad to have it.The tool is well built and appears that it will work well.

Cool little metal bender

[Size: 1 station]
This is an awesome tool for a metal worker like myself. I don't do too much work with sheet metal as I'm more of a structural integrity kind of guy but every now and then I'm faced with a task that requires me to bend a thin sheet of steel and this is perfect for just that. It's easy to adjust and get a good, consistent bend with accurate angles and it feels pretty stable while in use. The tool feels high quality and heavy duty enough for what it is so I would say the price is fair. It’s a neat little tool that you can toss in the tool bag amongst your arsenal of hand tools. All in all this is definitely a useful tool if you are a D.I.Y.er or do a little fabricating from time to time. I wouldn't use it for anything too thick though. Light gauge stuff only.

Roller Bender Review

[Size: 1 station]
This roller bender works well. I used it to straighten a slightly angled bend in sheet metal and it worked to straighten out the material. I haven't used it to bend any other angles yet however you have to put a little pressure as you roll it back and forth across the sheet metal to bend it, keep in mind to hold downward pressure to the sheet metal to keep it seated at the same time you are bending the material and take your time, it take a little practice.

Portable 1-Station Sheet Metal Roller Bender (0–100° Adjustable) for Roofing & FabricationPortabl...

[Size: 1 station, Size: 1 station]
Review:This 1-station sheet metal roller bender is designed for light-to-moderate metal fabrication tasks such as roofing panels, HVAC work, and general sheet metal forming. The tool focuses on controlled, gradual bending rather than high-force forming, making it more suitable for precision shaping than heavy industrial production. The 0–100° adjustable bending range is achieved through a roller-based design with an oblique bearing system, which helps reduce surface scratching compared to traditional hand pliers or brake-style bending methods. In practice, this makes it useful for visible exterior panels where surface finish matters. It supports a range of common sheet metals including steel, aluminum, copper, and stainless steel within the specified thickness range (0.2 mm to 0.8 mm). This covers typical roofing sheets and light fabrication stock, though it is not intended for structural gauge metals. The height adjustment mechanism, paired with laser-etched scale markings, provides repeatable setup control. This is particularly helpful when performing multiple identical bends, where consistency is more important than single-pass speed. The dual-bearing roller structure improves smoothness during operation and reduces binding when applying progressive bends. However, like most portable bending tools, achieving clean 90° bends requires multiple passes and technique rather than a single-form action.Overall, this is a niche fabrication tool aimed at controlled sheet shaping rather than high-volume production or heavy-gauge bending.ProsSmooth roller-based design reduces surface scratchingAdjustable 0–100° bending range for flexible formingWorks with multiple common sheet metal typesHeight scale improves repeatability and precisionPortable and suitable for on-site fabrication workConsLimited to relatively thin sheet metal (0.2–0.8 mm)SummaryA practical, lightweight sheet metal forming tool best suited for roofing and HVAC-style fabrication work where controlled, scratch-free bends are more important than heavy-duty forming power.

Finely Machined, Though Mine had an Assembly ErrorFinely Machined, Though Mine had an Assembly Error

While this will never replace a break, it will help you to make decent bends while away from your shop.I don't do sheet metal for a living, so my standards for acceptable work might be a lot lower than yours. I can get better results with this tool than I can with a hand seamer. Although, it took me a few tries to get to work "well enough." The scrap I had laying around to practice with is fairly thick. I forget what gauge it is. This tool will work better with softer, thinner sheets. I can make a 90 degree bend in much faster with this compared to a hand seamer. It does leave a fairly large radius at the bend (1/8" - 3/16'). Also, it relies on a bearing on each side of the forming wheel keep the tool at the correct height versus the bend. So, when you get to the ends of your bends it doesn't work very well. Using a seamer to clean up the ends work well. Another issue I have with this is that the scale is hard to read, and the increments are in tenths of an inch. It's probably a lot easier to use a ruler. Finally, While this is an extremely well machined tool. On mine, one of the bearings was damaged (probably when it was being pressed into place). I will only use this occasionally, so I don't mind keeping the screw that holds the roller a little loose. If I were going to sue this every day, I would definitely return it and replace it.

Great Tool for Small Metal Fabrication JobsGreat Tool for Small Metal Fabrication Jobs

[Size: 1 station, Size: 1 station]
I picked this sheet metal roller bender up for some smaller fabrication and roofing projects, and it’s worked surprisingly well. The adjustment feature makes it easy to get consistent bends, and the scale markings help a lot when trying to make accurate angles. The tool feels sturdy and well-built, especially considering the price point. I’ve used it on thin sheet metal and flashing, and it gives clean bends without chewing up or scratching the material badly. It’s also compact enough to move around the shop without taking up a ton of space.Definitely a useful tool if you do DIY metal work, fabrication, or small repair jobs and want something portable but still capable.
