What to try if tools come out of their place

Mine also fell out. I put electrical tape a couple of loops around where they are supposed to be held in 👍

The description is honest and right on! This is a perfect kit for a homeowner who once a while needs to hang a picture, build some furniture, or tighten up a seat on a bicycle. It is basic and provides a lot of tools. This kit would also make a great gift for the college kid in a dorm room. Comes with a handy case.

Solid beginner/portable setSolid beginner/portable set

First and foremost, this is a solid beginner tool set if you're in the market for that. Nothing fancy, but it covers a ton of your bases - from SAE and metric sockets to multiple common wrenches and sets of pliers. The electrical tape is an odd touch, but maybe 217 pieces felt like a weird prime number or there was an odd open space in the design of the case they needed to fill. Who knows. The nicest thing about this set is its portability. I predominantly work out of my garage, but donate some time to helping friends on various house projects once a week or so. I found myself packing and unpacking loose tools quite a bit. I tried re-using Amazon boxes, various tool satchels, and even those yellow-topped storage containers to transport various tools back and forth. Inevitably, I'd have a socket or screwdriver or pair of pliers get buried and either not realize it or remember and need to dig around through the mess. That got old very quickly. Having a portable set like this is great for when you just need something really quick - a pair of pliers, a generic screwdriver, a super quick use of a measuring tape. Obviously, I wouldn't make this my daily set, but the materials are surprisingly solid, comfortable in our hands, and don't feel like they're going to break at any moment. One thing on my end that may or may not be standard is that the case inevitably shakes something loose when you close it. If you close it one way, that's the smaller sockets, which rattle around in a super annoying way. If you leave that side on the ground and close the opposite end, the wire strippers drop out instantly. Almost everything else snaps in place, but the wire strippers literally will not. Oh well. That may be a quirk of my case or it may be a design flaw in the manufacturing template. Hard to say.Overall, if you're looking for a tool set that offers efficiently packed quantity, decent quality, and easy portability, this is definitely worth considering as a beginner or spare set.

Great kit

[Number of Items: 218]
I actually got this for the wife so she could have some tools around the house. For a bit over $50, this was a great buy.First, variety. This kit has some of everything. I wish there were a few more screwdrivers (there are two stubbies and two regular sized screwdrivers), but to make up for that they provide one multi head screwdriver and bits galore.Second, the case. It's sturdy enough and holds all the tools in place well enough. I consistently have one ratchet or a wrench falling when I try to close the case, but that's not bad.I wish the light was rechargeable, it takes batteries instead. Including the light in the kit is a good move though, I haven't seen that very often.I think this is an ideal gift for a kid heading to college or just to keep as a dedicated set of around the house tools.

Just about everything in this tool set!Just about everything in this tool set!

I have most of my tools in my basement and I really wanted this to have a tool set that I could easily access for quick things and this kit has it all. This thing is heavy in the case because of all the tools in it. There's even a hacksaw and extra blades! It has just about everything you'll need for a quick job. All the sizes of screw drivers, hex bolts, wrenches, pliers, and even some anchors and screws in you need some. It's so convenient to have all the sizes you'll typically need for anything to tighten up, to fasten, to hang. It feels super sturdy and the tools feel of good quality though I wouldn't place it on the level as my Stanley or MIlwaukee tools. I look at this as an secondary set that is nice to have. It can certainly work as your main set to have a set of tools for when you need it. You don't need a tool box since it's all it its own box!

I got this to ktake for move in days at my daughters dorms and to keep at my moms place i'm always going over to fix minor stuff and forgetting some basic tool. You get pretty much every basic tool here except saw wrenches. light, measuring tape, plumbers, tape, sockets, nice box cutter, hack saw, etc. Would be good if you have rentals to keep in your car as well. I'll take this kit when i move my kid into her next dorm it's nice for assembling basic furniture, hanging pictures and things like that and much easier to transport than grabbing a bunch of random tools and dumping them in a box and hoping you don't forget anything. Just pair it will a 12v drill/driver and you're set for most basic things.update: this kit has been super handy for having at my moms. Let's face it none of want more todo items but if i go over something is broke generally this kit is enough to install, tighten, etc along with a 12v driver.update #2: great move in day kit. Took it to get my daughter moved into her dorm, lots of assembly, etc the broad selection of tools comes in handy.
