Easy to install. Great look (as described). Air flow is strong!

The unusual design of this ceiling fan can take a little getting used to at first, but once installed, it looks fantastic. The rattan fixture has an attractive combination of rustic and modern styling that works especially well on a screened porch or in a room where a conventional ceiling fan would look too bulky. One of the best things about the design is that it doesn't immediately look like a ceiling fan. The blades are tucked discreetly inside the fixture, so visually it reads much more like an attractive woven ceiling light.Don't let the compact hidden-blade design be misleading, though. The fan is surprisingly powerful and moves a substantial amount of air. Six speed settings provide plenty of control, and the reversible motor makes it useful throughout the year. The remote control is especially convenient for adjusting fan speed and timer settings without needing separate wall controls. The five standard E12 bulb sockets are another advantage because the bulbs can be selected and replaced individually rather than relying on a permanently integrated LED light source. This unit was professionally installed, so there isn't enough firsthand experience to judge the DIY installation process itself. Once installed, however, the fixture feels solid and operates quietly.Overall, this has become a favorite ceiling fan. The attractive rattan design, surprisingly powerful airflow, quiet operation, hidden blades, and convenient remote make it an excellent combination of decorative lighting and functional air circulation.

There has definitely been a growing trend toward combining ceiling fans and chandeliers into a single fixture, and this model is an interesting example of that concept. While I can't say the design really suited my personal taste, it does offer a unique look along with solid functionality. The wicker-style outer shade is probably the most polarizing aspect of the fixture. It gives the fan a rustic, boho, or natural aesthetic that would likely work well in a sunroom, cabin, covered patio, or other space with an outdoors-inspired design. It simply wasn't the style I was looking for, but that's ultimately a matter of personal preference rather than a flaw with the product.Installation was fairly straightforward and similar to most ceiling fixtures. My only complaint was the small mounting bracket, which made the process a little more awkward than necessary. Holding the fixture in place while simultaneously connecting and twisting the wiring required an extra set of hands or a bit of patience. The included remote is convenient and makes it easy to control both the fan speed and the lighting. One thing to be aware of is that this fixture does **not** include bulbs—you'll need to supply your own candelabra-base bulbs. While that gives you the flexibility to choose your preferred brightness and color temperature, I was a little surprised the fixture didn't use integrated LEDs with adjustable brightness and color controlled directly from the remote, as many modern ceiling fans now do.In terms of performance, though, it delivers. The concealed fan moves a surprising amount of air while remaining very quiet, making it well suited for a bedroom or other living space where noise matters.Overall, the biggest consideration with this fixture is whether its distinctive boho styling fits your décor. If it does, you'll get a fan that is quiet, effective, and easy to operate. The design wasn't quite for me, but I have no complaints about its functionality.

I ordered this RUIYEY boho ceiling fan with lights mainly to update a smaller bedroom space with something that combined lighting, airflow, and decorative style without requiring a large traditional ceiling fan. After installing and using it for a while, I think it works well as a compact low-profile fan/light combination, especially for rooms where appearance and space-saving design are both important. The first thing I noticed was the overall look of the fixture. The rattan-inspired boho design gives it a more decorative appearance than a standard ceiling fan, making it feel more like part of the room décor rather than just a functional appliance. The woven-style shade and flush mount setup fit especially well with boho, coastal, farmhouse, or natural-themed interiors. Even when turned off, the fixture adds some visual texture to the room.Because the fan is only 20 inches wide, it is clearly intended more for smaller bedrooms, offices, nurseries, or similar compact spaces rather than large open living areas. In my experience, the airflow works reasonably well for circulating air in a smaller room. The six speed settings provide flexibility depending on how much airflow is needed, and the lower settings are quiet enough for nighttime use.The remote control is one of the more convenient features. Being able to adjust fan speed, lighting, and direction without using wall switches makes everyday use much easier. The remote responded consistently during testing, and switching between speeds or reversing airflow was straightforward. The reversible DC motor is another positive feature since it allows the fan to be used year-round. During warmer weather, the downward airflow helps circulate air through the room, while the reverse setting can help redistribute warm air during colder months. The DC motor also seemed quieter and smoother compared to some older AC fan designs I have used.Lighting performance was adequate for a bedroom-sized area. The fixture uses multiple E12 bulbs, which gives flexibility depending on the brightness and color temperature preferred. Since bulbs are replaceable, users can customize the lighting style more easily than with fully integrated LED-only fixtures. The woven shade design softens the light somewhat, creating a warmer and more decorative atmosphere rather than harsh direct lighting.Installation was manageable overall, though having some familiarity with ceiling fixture installation definitely helps. The flush mount design keeps the fan close to the ceiling, which is useful for rooms with lower ceilings. Once installed, the fixture felt stable and secure during operation. There are a few things worth mentioning. Since the fan is relatively compact, airflow may not feel strong enough for very large rooms or users expecting the performance of a larger full-size ceiling fan. Also, because of the decorative design, cleaning around the woven sections may require a little extra attention compared to plain metal fixtures. The overall build quality feels appropriate for residential home use. The materials are lightweight but visually appealing, and the fan operated smoothly during normal use without excessive wobbling or noise.Overall, this boho ceiling fan with lights provides a nice combination of decorative style and practical functionality for smaller spaces. The compact low-profile design, remote control convenience, reversible motor, and soft lighting make it well suited for bedrooms, offices, or cozy living spaces. While it may not replace a large high-powered ceiling fan, it performs well as a stylish and space-conscious lighting and airflow solution.

This is a wonderful ceiling fan with a return shade that conceals the 5E 12 lightbulbs and the fan's 5 blades, which are 20 inches in diameter. The fan is a DC motor that is also reversible. It’s a flush-mount fan. This fan light configuration uses five E12-base light bulbs. The bulbs and the switch to turn the fan on and off are not included. You may know the E12 life base, also known as the candelabra base, has been in use in the United States for more than 100 years, and there are literally thousands of different bulb variations. The manufacturer suggests that the flight you pick should not exceed 60 W of LED power, which would be about 300 W of LED lighting. The fan comes with a remote, and you can set a timer for 1, 2, or 4 hours. If you’re using it in your bedroom, I wanna set it to turn off before you retire. It’s a very quiet DC motor. It’s lower than 30 dB, and there's no noise.I like fans because they usually pay for themselves within one or two years. They do this because this is a reversible fan, also which can be controlled from the remote, and when a fan is reversible, you can change the direction with the seasons. Let me explain how fans save you money. In the winter, as you probably know, it rises to the ceiling because it’s lighter. The molecules are farther apart, I’m more active, and cool air gravitates toward the floor because it’s cooler and the molecules are less active. The thermostat in your home is normally located midway between the ceiling and the floor. What a fan does is mix the air more quickly, so your thermostat can turn off sooner, saving you energy. The same thing happens in the summer. Your fan pulls air from the floor, mixing it more quickly with the hot air, which makes the thermostat turn off sooner. All of this saves you money every day of the year. This is a beautiful tan fan. I would personally use this fan, probably in a bedroom, and with the remote control, you have complete control over all the lighting, color temperatures, timers (if you wish to use them), and the fan speed.
