This was easy to install. Shut breaker off at the box, remove old fixture, attach color coordinated wires after you mount the bracket, fasten the fixture add some bulbs and voila! My biggest complaint is the color of the socket. How I difnt see that they were gold is beyond me.. really not a fan of the gold. Looks a bit tacky to me honestly. Takes normal sized lightbulbs.

I absolutely love these light fixtures! This is actually my third one because I liked the first two so much. I wanted all of the lights in my hallway to match, and they look fantastic together. The glassless design makes it easy to clean. I love the modern style and black metal frame. Installation is straightforward and instructions are included, but it's just basic house wiring with three wires (hot, neutral, ground). Although, each bulb has it's own wires that are tied together. So that is unique, but it doesn't change the installation process. This fixture feels well made and would brighten up any room of your home.

The description does state its dimensions so be sure to use the information wisely as the images show unrealistic conditions. It is 13 inches. In my opinion this will suit a 12 x 12 room, hallway, or even a small foyer, providing it is indoors, very nicely. The lamp is flush mounted style with no glass. The bulbs are open. While incandescent are permitted a few designer (Edison style) LED bulbs connected to a dimmer will provide a wide range of lighting conditions. The sockets are mounted to a pivot to accommodate a range of bulb shapes. This device is NOT UL Listed and, despite the 60 watt rating, does not include the fiberglass layer that protects the wires from damage from the intense heat of incandescent bulbs. I will recycle a protective foil from an old, unused lamp prior to hanging this in my small spare room.Cheers
