This stapler saved my couch. We have an Australian shepherd who one afternoon thought it would be grand to give a good tug on our Ethan Allen couch’s skirting. I ordered this stapler and it came with several staple sizes to choose from and it was easy to manage the staple gun. Just pay attention to the directions on how to load it, as how I thought it should be loaded wasn’t at all how it actually is loaded.After fixing the skirt on the couch I feel it is better secured than previously. However the packaging for the staple gun was no match for the Aussie pup. Must of made him mad and I found the cardboard box that the staple gun fit in with all the different box sizes of staples, destroyed.So, I kind of wish it came in a plastic box.Nothing against the cardboard box, it was very nice.

This is a really nice staple gun and it works very well. I originally ordered it hoping to use it to secure a couple of loose fence boards, but the included staples aren’t long enough for that type of project. That was completely my fault for not paying closer attention to the staple sizes beforehand. I was, however, able to use it to help repair one of the fence boards that our neighbor’s dogs had broken, so it still came in handy!The staple gun itself is very easy to use. It doesn’t require an excessive amount of pressure, but you do have to squeeze firmly enough that I don’t feel like it would be super easy to accidentally fire it, which I actually appreciate.I also really like that it comes with several different types and sizes of staples. You get quite a few of them, and the included staple remover is another really useful addition.Overall, this is a great staple gun that feels sturdy, works well and comes with a nice assortment of accessories. Just keep in mind that it’s better suited for things like upholstery, crafts and lighter duty projects rather than fastening fence boards. 😅 I’d definitely recommend it.

This heavy duty staple gun works great, and it comes with a huge assortment of staple sizes. I am really glad that the manufacturer included instructions with it because the staples load a little differently than standard staplers. Instead of laying over a fitted track, you drop the staples in from the bottom, and then the magazine slides in to hold them in place. This specific loading style is what allows the tool to accommodate all the different fastener sizes included in the box.When I tested the gun on a wood board on my porch, the staples remained lifted slightly above the surface, meaning I would need to use a hammer to drive them completely flush. This gap might actually be by design since the staple gun is intended for upholstery work. Leaving a small amount of space prevents the machine from putting too much localized pressure on delicate fabrics when you attach them to a wood frame. I was personally glad they stayed raised because I was just testing the tool out and needed to remove them anyway.The product pictures on the website show a dedicated staple remover tool. However, that tool was missing from my package, which was a huge disappointment. I realize you can easily pry staples out with a standard screwdriver or a pair of pliers, but it would have been nice to receive the proper removal tool since it was advertised in the listing. On a positive note, the kit comes inside a sturdy cardboard storage box that works perfectly for keeping the gun and the individual staple boxes organized together.

This thing has saved my soul. I've had the same old staple gun for about a decade and it never worked properly. If I was lucky, I could get 2-3 staples embedded before it would jam and stop. It was utterly miserable.And then there's this little thing. The key difference between my old one and this one is that the staples fit in a channel INSIDE THE GUN and not on the chute that slides in and clips in place. This means the staples are stable and can't wobble out of position and lend to a jam. The gun is comfortable and bottom heavy, which helps root the gun to the surface you're stapling. The rubberized grip on the top of the level if a huge help, especially if you're in a gungy situation, like stapling a garden trellis to posts, as I was. The lever has a clip you can secure the handle in so when you stow it in your toolbox, the footprint is smaller. The slide chute is so much better quality than my old all metal version! Even though this one has some plastic parts, particularly the end clip, it's way better quality than my old version.On the outside, nothing sticks out and everything is covered, all channels, all staples, so you can't get accidentally stapled or snagged by staples. It's a sturdy, complete body with heft and in order to staple, you have to be secure and grounded, so it's easy to be confident using it. It can't hurt you on it's own and it's pretty much impossible to get a staple off accidentally.I'm so relieved to have staple gun that actually works when called upon. A 5 min job is now a 5 min job again. And the staples are flush to the surface and solidly placed, so you don't have endless do-overs you have to pry out.Highly recommend this complete set, it has tons of staples of multiple sizes so you'll be good for a long time. Even the staples are noticeably better quality than my old set.
