These gloves feel thick and heavy-duty. Size "M", my usual size, fits comfortably on my hands, but the fingers are a bit too long. I got these gloves mostly for working with paint stripper; I’m refinishing some old furniture. These gloves handled the chemical with no issues.

These gloves are heavy and substantial. The basic issue I’ve had with carwash gloves I’ve tried in the past: they leave my hands really stinky. These do not. So bonus points here!I have average woman’s size hands and the medium fits me well. The cuffs are fairly loose as you can see from my photo, but the gloves are long enough to avoid a lot of water running down my arms.The fact that the material is pretty thick makes the gloves a bit less flexible than some. Probably not a good idea to use these for delicate tasks such as washing dishes. I expect that with maybe weekly or bi-weekly use on our two cars, these gloves should last for at least a couple years. (Will update if I’m wrong.) The price seems reasonable, considering you get two pairs.

Most gloves I've gotten on amazon are well under their stated thickness. "28 mils" should be about 28 thousanths of an inch, for each layer. So two layers ought to be around 56. Measuring soft stuff is difficult - hard hard to squeeze...?I measured this at 52 thou for two layers before going to the listing to see how thick it is supposed to be. That' s much better than other gloves I've gotten lately. That small discrepency is likely just my amatuer measuring.I normally wear large/xlarge gloves and these xl are roomy. The grip texture is consistent and effective (for anything without abrasive, this is about as effective as I've seen).2 pair for $16 is a reasonable price; good value, 5 stars.

I am thrilled with these gloves.For too long, I've been dealing with cumbersome solutions, involving strapping the sleeves tight before putting on ordinary rubber gloves. Applying paint stripper overhead requires good protection, and now I have it.At the time of order, they were only available in size XL. My hands are size L, but many times I buy gloves that size, only to find them too tight. So I gave XL a chance. They are rather loose on my hand, which means they are sized properly to the label. If I bought them again, I'd probably choose L. But for what I use them for right now, being oversized is totally ok. In fact, it makes it easy to take them on and off.I'm also pleased with the grip. A little sticky perhaps, but a pleasure to work with.The gloves appear well built and durable, so the extra pair is 'good to have', and tucked away in storage, for future use.They've seen several hours of hard work already, that's why they look dirty in the picture.In regards to price, their recent price drop to $16, for 2 pairs, makes them affordable. These are made for industrial use - however I ordered these to use at home - working with cement- fertilizers - weed killers - and oddly enough physically removing poison Ivy -I have purchased in the past many gloves that should do similar but was always disappointed.So far I have only tried them - but the material which is rubber (a real material not plastic). I put them on and noticed they were very thick but yet flexible and grippy. I must admit time will tell if the hold up and I will certainly update my review with good or bad results. However I put them on easily (I ordered large) and they were snug but very flexible and comfortable, and I said finally I found some good gloves to protect my hands from all the bad stuff!!!I took some pics - one thing I noticed was that on the packaging “shelf life 60 months” (I have a pic of that). I guess the rubber dries out eventually? If these last 5 years I am a happy guy!!One other thing I am not sure I ever ordered gloves that came with all the specifications. See Pic -Great Value as well!Once again I will mention they are advertised for industrial use - but don’t hesitate to get these for home use!
