There really isn't anything wrong with this light from a functional standpoint. It works exactly like it's supposed to. The dusk-to-dawn sensor turns the light on when it gets dark and shuts it back off when daylight returns, so once it's installed, there's really nothing else I need to do with it.The 3000K warm-white light is pleasant and works well for an entryway or porch. At only 3 watts, I wouldn't expect it to light up a huge area, but it provides a nice amount of downward accent light around a doorway or along an exterior wall. I also like having the photocell built directly into the fixture rather than needing a separate timer or smart switch.My disappointment is really with the appearance.For some reason, the product photos made this look considerably more stylish and distinctive to me. I liked the curved horseshoe design and thought it would add a nice modern architectural touch to the outside of the house. In person, however, it just looks very plain and basic. It's not ugly by any means, but it doesn't have the visual impact I was expecting from the pictures.That's obviously subjective, and someone specifically looking for a simple, understated fixture may actually consider that a positive. I just expected something with a little more presence.The aluminum construction is decent, installation is typical for a hardwired exterior fixture, and functionally I really don't have anything to complain about. It turns on at dusk, turns off at dawn, and provides a warm downward light exactly as advertised.Overall: It works perfectly fine, and I have no complaints about the actual operation. My three-star rating is mostly because the appearance was disappointing compared with what I expected from the listing photos. In person, it's a very basic-looking outdoor light. If you're looking for something simple and functional, it does the job. If the stylish appearance in the photos is what caught your attention like it did mine, you may find the real thing a little underwhelming.

Got this as a gift for my friend and she says it does an amazing job of lighting up the backyard more. Now they can step onto the patio and not be blind to the darkness! Good value. Easy to put up. The size of your average outdoor light.

What a bargain! I wasn't looking for anything fancy and stumbled onto this little fixture. It's a great find. The fixture is very straightforward and came ready to install. All wiring is in place and I just needed to attach it to the wall -- easy to do as it came with wall anchors and extra sturdy screws. The fixture is no bigger than a coffee cup which is what brought it to my attention as the space where I need to install this is narrow and tight. This fit perfectly. The description says it has an aluminum housing but it looks and feels like cast-iron. The engraving on the fixture gives it an industrial, almost vintage look. The dusk to dawn eye works just as it should and the LED light is bright. No complaints on this sweet little find.
