I am very pleased with this woven lampshade. The description and pictures are exactly what you receive. I followed the instructions and added a little extra water, then placed the shade over a round garbage can to help it regain its shape. It worked beautifully!I am using mine as a lampshade, and I reinforced the opening at the top with a round key holder. It looks lovely! The handmade quality is beautiful, and I really like how unique it is. The natural woven design looks wonderful with the wood pieces I have on display in my home.It arrived in a timely manner and was packaged well. I am very happy with how it turned out and the character it adds to my room. Art Piece!!

Okay, this is different—and I mean that in the best possible way.The woven design and raffia fringe make this look more like a piece of art than a basic light shade. It has that organic, collected-over-time feel that immediately adds texture and personality to a space.The colors are definitely more muted in person than I expected, but surprisingly, I think that works. It makes the shade feel a little more sophisticated and much easier to blend into different decor styles.My current problem? I haven't decided where it deserves to live.Dining area? Closet? Reading corner? Somewhere completely unexpected? I'm still conducting internal negotiations because this is not getting tossed into a random room just because there's a light fixture available.One important note: this is the shade only, so you'll need the appropriate fixture/setup to actually use it.Would I add this to cart? Absolutely. Unique, beautifully textured, and interesting enough that I'm designing the location around the light instead of the other way around.
