Well made water resistant 15a to 20a switched adapter

[Size: 1.5FT Extension Cord with Switch]
This looks to be a well made water resistant 15a to 20a switched adapter. I use several of these to control and switch many different appliances, they are very hand to place a switch wherever you need it.This adapter looks very well made, and the switch body and cord ends are well molded with nice, tight, plug ends. I think the value for the money on this adapter is also pretty good.

Handy adaptor!

[Size: 1.5FT Extension Cord with Switch]
I used to use a power strip to turn several items on and off but I didn't like that most have only a 10 amp breaker. This 12/3 SJTW solves that issue! It is full 20 amps. Plus its versatility can adapt 15 amp plug type to a 20 amp plug for devices I have that need this connector. It still accepts the 15 amp connector too!The wire feels thick and of good quality. It looses some flexibility because of the thickness but because its so short it doesn't effect its use for me. The switch is lighted which helps see from a distance if it's on or off. It's so easy to use and can be used outdoors because of its water resistance design. Overall well built and does a handful of things. Worth the 18 bucks!

Extremely heavy dutyExtremely heavy duty

[Size: 3FT Extension Cord with Switch, Size: 3FT Extension Cord with Switch]
I love this cord for how beefy it is. It's heavy duty to the extreme. I use it probably not to its full potential, to switch on and off the things hooked to my garage. That includes bouncy houses, chargers, kid cars and various other low end charging things. That doesn't mean this thing couldn't handle a lot more. The installation couldn't be easier. Put one end into the outlet, the other to your "thing" and turn it on or off as needed. This is all for outdoor use and easily can get wet if you had to.I love this thing and am glad I have it. Highly recommended.

Heavy-Duty Lifesaver! Heavy 12AWG Wire and the T-Blade Outlet is Brilliantly Versatile!

[Size: 1.5FT Extension Cord with Switch]
If you need a safe, robust way to add an accessible power switch to heavy-duty appliances or workshop machinery, this short extension cord is the gold standard. Finding a 12-gauge cord with a high-capacity switch is rare, and this one handles high-draw tools flawlessly without getting warm. Why this short extension cord stands out:True Industrial 12AWG Gauge: Unlike cheap 14 or 16-gauge cords that present a fire hazard when hooked up to big motors, this cord uses genuine, thick 12AWG wire. It safely handles high amperage without any voltage drop, making it perfect for table saws, space heaters, or commercial shop lights.Brilliant T-Blade Adapter Design: The NEMA 5-15P to 5-20R/6-15R/6-20R compatibility is incredibly smart. It lets you plug standard 15-amp appliances or heavy-duty 20-amp T-blade equipment into your circuit with total ease. It solves a ton of compatibility headaches in a workshop.High-Visibility Green Inline Switch: The inline toggle switch is rugged and clicks firmly between positions. The green illumination makes it incredibly easy to see if the circuit is live across a messy garage or a dark workspace.Perfect 1.5-Foot Length: The short length completely eliminates messy, tangled cable clutter behind workbenches or appliances. It gives you just enough slack to bring the power switch right out to where you can easily reach it, acting as an instant master cutoff. The molding around the plugs is heavy-duty, the prongs are perfectly solid, and the cable insulation resists cuts and shop chemicals well. If you want a commercial-grade, safe switching option for your power tools or high-draw appliances, buy this immediately.

Easily Adds Switched Service for 15A Circuits

[Size: 1.5FT Extension Cord with Switch]
This is a handy little adapter if you need to add a switched outlet inline with a power cord. The cord is short, as expected, and is intended to stay close to the power source rather than act as an extension cord. The outer jacket feels durable while still being flexible enough to angle towards your tool/device.One feature I really like is the switch "ears". These raised sides protect the switch from being accidentally bumped if the cord is dragged across the floor or brushed against equipment. The receptacle accepts both standard polarized 15A plugs and 20A T-blade plugs. The male plug, however, is a standard 15A household plug with two vertical blades and a ground pin, so it can only be connected to a 15A receptacle. That's an important detail because, although the connector accepts 20A-style plugs, the product is still limited to a 15A (1875W) circuit as stated in the specifications. Avoid overloading this adapter and it will serve you well.Overall, it's a well-built inline switched adapter that does exactly what it's designed to do. As long as you understand it's providing the convenience of a switched outlet—not increasing the available circuit capacity—it's a useful addition to a workshop, garage, or job site.

[Size: 1.5FT Extension Cord with Switch, Size: 1.5FT Extension Cord with Switch]
There is great versatility to an in-line switch like this one from URANT. It can be inserted between an extension cord and a 110V wall socket to provide on-off functionality to any electrical device that doesn’t exceed the maximum power spec of 1,875 watts. That’s quite a bit of power, it will handle all 15A devices and then some. Power equals current multiplied by voltage so you can figure out your own specific use case. I am using mine on a submersible pump that doesn’t have its own switch. The wire is 12 AWG and is made of copper. The plug that plugs into a wall socket has a right-angles design to allow installation in low profile situations like when a piece of furniture or equipment is near to the wall socket. The integrated rocker switch has a positive feel to it. The cables length on each end is small but it is this way by design to prevent clutter from too much extra cabling. The switch and cable is water resistant. It can be used in a rainy environment but should not ever be fully submersed in water. Pricing is as expected for a quality in-line switch with real copper wire. It’s definitely handy and I think most people will eventually have a use for at least one of these. Recommended.

Does exactly what it's supposed to.

I don't typically leave 5 star ratings for products because it's rare to find a product that's so good that it's worthy of a perfect 5 star rating. This product is definitely an exception to my rule.I often buy things at local sales, like estate sales, auctions, or even yard sales. Most of what I buy, at those types of sales, is stuff that other buyers don't want, because of the condition it's in, but I'm really good at repairing/restoring a wide variety of things. Long story short, I bought a 60 lb (pound) air compressor that wasn't working, but I knew exactly why it wasn't working, and knew how to repair it. The only problem was that it had a Nema 6-15 plug, and I don't have any compatible outlets anywhere in my house, or garage. I needed this adapter to be able to not only confirm that my repairs restored functionality to the compressor, but to also show potential buyers that the compressor worked as it was supposed to.This heavy duty extension cord adapter is a quality product. It's constructed very well, and I really appreciate that it has a switch built into it. I can leave everything plugged in without continuously running power to the compressor. When I needed to show a potential buyer that the compressor worked, I just used the built-in switch.Disclaimer: I don't recommend using an adapter, like this, to continually use equipment designed to plug into a Nema 6-15 outlet. Equipment with that type of power cord is usually designed for outlets with a 250v/15A power rating, and a typical home outlet has a 120v/15A power rating. If you continuously run equipment through an outlet that doesn't match the equipment's power rating, you can damage the equipment, or potentially cause a fire. I don't recommend using an adapter, as I've described, long term. I'm only using this product to run the compressor, with the Nema 6-15 plug, for up to 5 minutes. Even so, I still observe everything closely, making sure that nothing is overheating, or operating abnormally. Electricity is dangerous, so be aware, and be careful. All of that said, this is a fantastic product, and it definitely solved my problem. It is very well constructed, performs perfectly, and I'm very happy that I ordered it.

Just what you need for woodworking tools or heatersJust what you need for woodworking tools or he...

[Size: 1.5FT Extension Cord with Switch, Size: 1.5FT Extension Cord with Switch]
I saw this cord in the things I could try from the Amazon Vine program; and knew I need to see what it could do for me.I could have used one last Winter for the heater in our pet enclosure. The only option I had was to unplug it every time we brought the cat in. And then remember to plug it back in when he went out. This cord with the lighted switch would have been perfect. Especially since it is weather resistant against rain and snow. But, it will be a big plus in the garage when I'm woodworking with my table saw, or planner table. This cord has the power capacity to handle all of my 15 Amp, and lower power tools without over heating.Typically, I setup my shop vac for dust collection on those tools, and others; but I have to walk around to turn the vac on/off before using the saw, or other tools. Now I can have a switch at the wall that is closer to me to reach without crossing the room to reach the button on the vac.The one big disappointment with the one I got is that the button is hidden when plugged into my wall outlet. I don't know if all of them are this way; but that's a real disadvantage to seeing the power status on the cord.It is a solid 4 Star tool for use in my shop, and yard as is. It would be a 5 Star tool if the button was on the flip side.
