This 13” 5/8 SDS max concrete drill bit is a fantastic value for the quality and durability for the money. I needed a 5/8 concrete drill bit for some anchors for a metal carport that I was installing. The local hardware stores were charging $50-$60 dollars for similar bits, while this one is about half that. This bit really chewed through the concrete and through all the 12 required holes. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another bit when I need another size from this seller.

I recently ordered the concrete drill bit for my husband in the 5/8 x 13in size. This is a heavy duty drill bit. It's only limit is the limit of the drill you use. The drill bit is sharp and doesn't stop. It did well on a project my husband was working on. No damage to surrounding area. For the quality, the price point of $22 (at time of review) is worth it. Four stars for exceeding expectations.

Man this thing is heavy! But I guess that’s a good thing if you’re trying to drill concrete.I just build anslumpstone wall and need to mount a gate. So hopefully this is the right size for that.It’s heavy and real solid so I no doubt think this will do the job.

I needed to run 5 PoE cords through cinder blocks in my garage and home. This drill bit was able to make it through for all of those cuts with the same quality and speed on the 5th as it had on the first. I think this is a very durable bit and will work as long as you're looking to run something smaller than 1/2 inch through the hole. I ordered the 5/8th inch bit, and the tip was true to size. The cutting power was on par with what you'd expect.Overall, I think for this versatility it was a great value for the money.

The extended 13-inch length is great for deeper holes, and the bit stayed straight and stable while drilling through concrete and masonry. I needed a 5/8” bit with some reach for drilling sleeved concrete anchors to mount equipment pedestals to the floor in a robotic welding cell. The 13” length was exactly right for getting adequate anchor depth without extensions. It seated cleanly into my 2” SDS Max rotary hammer without any issues.Before putting it to work I inspected the carbide head closely and the brazing on the cutting inserts looked clean and well done. The 4-cutter cross geometry that’s advertised to self-center the bit lived up to the claim — it didn’t wander when starting holes in the slab and produced clean, round holes the anchor sleeves slid right into.Worth mentioning: the concrete floor had rebar in it I wasn’t expecting to hit. I’m honestly not sure if this bit is rated for rebar but it drilled right through without any obvious damage to the cutting edges or any drama. Whether that’s the carbide quality or favorable positioning I can’t say, but it handled it.One thing buyers absolutely need to know: this is SDS Max only and will not seat in an SDS Plus machine. Make sure you have the right hammer before ordering. At $22.99 for a 13” extended masonry bit with solid carbide, it’s good value for the application.

I got this SDS-Max concrete drill bit for drilling through some very old concrete walls in my house. If you've ever worked on a home built in the 1950s, you know how tough some of that concrete can be. Standard concrete bits tend to struggle, take forever, and wear out quickly. This bit handled the job much better than I expected.Setup was straightforward. It fit securely into my SDS-Max rotary hammer without any issues and was ready to go right away. The order includes the drill bit itself, and the extended length was one of the main reasons I chose it since I needed the extra reach.What stood out most was how efficiently it drilled through dense concrete. It stayed centered well and didn't wander around when starting holes. The longer design made it easier to get through thicker sections without needing extensions or changing bits midway through the job.The bit feels solid and heavy-duty. After multiple holes through very hard concrete, I didn't notice excessive wear on the cutting edges, and it still looks ready for plenty more use.
