I chose the square base, just in case the base was not heavy enough to keep it from tipping. I was thinking that I could put the base flat up against the wall. The base is quite heavy…as I hoped it would be. I am happy with this product.

You do have to put this item together so some people may not like that, but it is very simple, you just have to thread the pipe to the base, and the roll holder threads onto the pipe. It has a heavy enough base not to easily fall over which is a plus. This has thick strong parts. The roll holder is plenty wide and easy to install a roll on. For those that debate the direction the paper should come off the roll, it can be done either way (No Worries). It has a nice strong coat of black paint that should hold up well over time. If you have remodeled your bathroom, and need a TP Holder, this one does a nice job, and can be located in various spots without difficulty. I would say this is a good value for the price.

I ordered this toilet paper holder because I was so tired of the rolls slipping off the dowel of every other one I tried. I was delighted to see that this one had a spring-loaded dowel like the holders that are usually attached to a wall or door. When I ordered it, I thought the price was a little high, but, once it arrived, I found it's well worth the cost. I would actually even pay more for this.The holder came in a nice box, with the various pieces protected by foam. The pieces themselves are hefty and strong and are easily assembled. The bottom has a cushioned cover to protect your floor. The end result is solid and very attractive, with a black matte finish and clean lines that would work well in any setting. And my toilet paper rolls will never again slide off the dowel.
