Most of the time anything advertised as fire proof makes me very skeptical. But this product came with a sample that I was able to test with actual flames. The sample performed great and now I actually trust these envelopes to protect the contents from extreme heat and flames.The large envelope has three pockets. Two of them can fit standard sized paper. The largest pocket would fit a larger file. I am impressed with how much can fit. The smaller envelope is generously sized and can fit cash or jewelry easily.The zippers are very precise and close completely. They open and close smoothly and I haven't had them get stuck even once.These envelopes are very protective but not thick. They don't take up too much room by themselves. They should hold up for a long time.

This fireproof document bag seems well made and has plenty of room for important papers, cash, and other valuables. The zippers work smoothly, the material feels durable, and I like that it comes with a smaller pouch for organizing smaller items. Thankfully, it hasn't been in a fire yet, so I can't personally test how effective it really is, and I hope I never have to. I'm hoping for the best if that day ever comes. Until then, it gives me some extra peace of mind knowing my important documents have an added layer of protection. Great value for the price!

The MDDZKJ 2 Pockets Fireproof Waterproof Document Bag 6500℉,Fire Proof Bag(11.2x7.7 inch) with Handel are well made and durable fireproof document bags.The item was delivered with two different sized document bags and a piece of the fireproof fabric should you desire to test its flame retardant properties. The larger fireproof bag is 11" by 8" when fully closed. It has handle and is two zipper compartments that are protected by a velcro flap. The larger zippered compartment is 7 3/4" by 11" and the smaller zippered compartment is 6 1/2" by 11". The zippers are smooth running and worked well. Neither of these compartments are large enough to accept an unfolded 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper - it must be folded.The smaller bag is 5" by 8" with one zippered compartment. It is perfect for passports and cash. The exterior of these bags have a nice appearance - a textured blue color with the large document bag also having the yellow and silver reflective strip.We selected these bags to provide an extra level of fire protection for important documents in our fireproof safes. We will store our passports and perhaps some cash in these.

The bag is water resistant and rated to 6500-degree Fahrenheit. Bags of this style or not meant to exposed to long duration direct flame exposure. For us, this is to add a layer of protection by placing our important documents inside this bag that will go into our safe. The zippers and Velcro work very well closing tightly. The inside is the familiar fire-resistant aluminum foil layer. It is a thick smooth foil. All standard sized document will fit inside the 13.9x10.6 inch bag.The price is good for the piece of mind of preserving important documents.

Up here in the mountains the biggest threat is forest fires, I've actually seen the flames on the ground standing on my deck, but so far after 20 years my house is still standing. This document bag gives me a real peace, at least for my cash and important documents. It is large enough to hold quite a few documents, it even has a smaller pouch for a little bit of cash which is nice. Personally I'd store this close to an exit so you can grab it on the way out if there is a fire. The quality of this bag is excellent, the material is nice and thick and durable. I love the green color too, it's easy to spot from across the room. I'd probably keep important documents in this bag stored inside of my 'fireproof' safe to be on the safe side. I've seen high winds combined with fires melt an entire car to the ground, so perhaps the combination of the two could actually stand a chance. This is very versatile from cash to documents to other important items like jewelry. I really like having these bags as extra insurance and for sure I'd consider it an excellent buy.

This bag is compact enough to haul around most essential documents during normal times. All your documents should be protected somehow and this fireproof bag is a means to provide that protection.The two reflective stripes along the width of the bag allow it to be found quickly even if lying on a desk.The bag is perfect for passports, cards of various types, coins and cash, and the manufacturing details show that the bag should support intense heat for a short bursts. Anything that can help in preserving important documents after an emergency is a good thing.There is a second, smaller bag with the same construction is included in the purchase. I imagine this is something for a second location like a car or could be a redundant container for money inside the bigger bag.It is not sized for retaining unfolded legal documents, such as a will. However, if the documents can be folded then this is the fireproof bag for you.
